What is odd about this review is that the customer talked to some girls, but claimed that he was never advertised about any other lap dances, other than the expensive private rooms. When I was at the Club, all of the girls that I spoke with asked me to have a $20 lap dance either in the Main Lido room with the bar on the 3rd Floor or in the Lido lap dance room on the 2nd floor.

Yes, Zara is very pssionste and gave great dances.

If you want to go at a really busy time, I would suggest 10 PM to 11 PM on a Thursday night or 11 PM to Midnight on Friday night.

Getting their at 7:30 PM on a Wednesday night is too early. Wonderland does not have a kitchen or dining room. I often go to Wonderland on Wednesday nights with guys from work, but we go to dinner first and then get there by about 9:30 PM. By then, the dancers are there and the place is rocking. I like the Lido Lounge because it is Members Only and has a semi-private lop dance room, as well.

Agreed. this one time review is a fake shill review. The red flag is the claim that 2 guys had 2 bottles of Don Julio. Each bottle is 16 to 25 drinks. if they drank that much, they would have been carried out. Also, lap dances in New York Clubs are typically for one song, not for 3 songs.

Steve and his fake profiles @Cashmanjo and @BiSeggi should be banned from this site. Steve's underground lap dance party got raided by the cops earlier this year. The cops took videos and photographs, rounded up and searched all the dancers for drugs, and arrested people. The girls at this Hell's Kitchen club are a combination of Lido Girl Next Door (GND) and the Hustler Club strippers. I just got the invitation for the Grand Opening of the Lido Lounge event in Flatiron. That event will have a private lounge with a bar and lap dance area just for Lido members and Lido dancers.

When I went to Le Rouge at Hustler, the cashier was very professional. If you arrive before 10 PM with a Le Rouge invitation, you get free admission and a free premium drink. If you arrive after 10 PM with a Le Rouge invitation, you get discounted admission.

I thought the admission price was a great deal at $40 because it included entrance to the semi-private lap dance area. Other clubs charge an additional $60 to $500 for a semi-private lap dance area.

@Biseggi is a cutthroat competitor and fake reviewer. The proof that this is a false review is his flattering review in the Hustler Club, called "Hustler and Lido - match in heaven", with a perfect 10 rating for Dancers and the Club. Hustler is hosting the Lido Room which was a spin-off from LeRouge Lounge, aka the Lido Lounge, the original Lido lap dance party started by Joe Lido. Also, @Biseggi is not Italian, as neither of the 2 owners/promoters of the Lido Room is Italian. It is discriminatory that @Biseggi tries to act like an illiterate Italian who uses expressions like "them drink prices," "Aye," "Don't like them prices," "to da 9s", "I think ya right".

The cost of a lap dance was $20 per full-length song.
There were no private rooms or VIP options.
However, there was a semi-private lap dance area at no additional charge.

I can't believe there was a police raid at the Lido Room. Lido is one of the cleanest clubs in New York City. There are a lot of licensed security guards there each night. The dancers are "girl next door" types who are not involved in drugs, prostitution, or any illegal activity. There are no private rooms there and no opportunity for prostitution or drugs. The rules appear strict and the girls will not give out their phone numbers.

Username RedJohnson you are not fooling anyone. You joined TUSCL in 2015 and you never reviewed a Club. Most of your comments center around dissing Lido Room. You are not a guy with a view, but a jealous competitor who is a low life.
I will stand by my review comments of January 1 and February 8. Since then the Lido Room has only gotten better. They have expanded from two nights a week (Wednesday and Thursday) to four nights a week, by adding on a Tuesday event in the West Village venue and adding on a new Friday night event at their Rockefeller Center venue.

This Discussion is about "The Lido Room NYC" and my comments have been about the Lido Room. The comment from Emperor999 indicates that competitors have been using this Discussion to plug their competing lap dance events, and that these same competitors have made comments in this Discussion to smear the reputation of www.thelidoroom.com
However, I agree with Emperor999 that with 8+ million people in NYC that any bickering is silly and that there is plenty of opportunity for all of these events.

The private lap dance clubs have their place in Manhattan. If I am in the Village by myself and
slumming, I will go to Yakety Sax which is in an NYU kids bar where you have to walk up
two steep flights of steps. If is a fun place to have a cheap beer and a few lap dances with friendly and cute dancers. However, if I am with a business associate or a client, I will want to go to some place classier like
the Lido Room which is in a posh lounge across from Rockefeller Center. The drink prices are a little bit higher,
but you get what you pay for. The Lido Room also has some model quality dancers.

Lido Room is an exclusive lap dance party in a classy venue near Rockefeller Center. Drink prices are on the high side. There are 30 to 35 dancers that are absolutely gorgeous and rank with the top gentlemen's clubs. The dancers are also friendly and not pushy. There is no stage. There is a semi-private lap dance room which is monitored. Lido is a great place for bringing co-workers or clients, and you will not be embarrassed. Lido does not have any private rooms like the major gentlemen's clubs in Manhattan. Lido is not a place for "extras" and the dancers are not allowed to give out their phone numbers or meet customers after work.

Update on my post from November 18, 2014, "SVT now has competition from some other alternative strip clubs or lap dance parties, including Masked Nights, DHT and The Lido Room." Die Happy Tonight (DHT) just closed down last week. The hottest dancers from DHT are now with Lido. www.thelidoroom.com

I have been going to the Lido Room private lap dance parties since 2009 when they were in the basement in a Moroccan restaurant in Hell's Kitchen. At the time, it was very simple and unpretentious. There was a small bar, a dozen or so girls, and some old but comfortable sofas, and some light curtain dividers. The girls were not knock-outs, but they were friendly and intimate. It was a nice change of pace from the more traditional gentlemen's clubs.
In the fall of 2014, they took a big step forward and moved to a new location in Greenwich Village which was beautifully decorated with plush red carpets and sofas. The new location had a great vibe and the party started to attract a lot of hot girls who wanted to be there, and then they started to invite their girl friends, and then more customers started to come. Then, the Greenwich Village location soon became too crowded and you had to wait to get a sofa for a lap dance.
Having outgrown the Greenwich Village location, the Lido Room relocated to a Midtown location that was literally three times the size of the Village spot. This new Midtown location is just off the hook with a long bar, and a huge semi-private lap dance area with so many sofas that you never have to wait for a lap dance. The girls really like working here and it seems like every week I come back, that there are more and more hot girls. The Lido Room is the new hot spot in Manhattan.

The Lido Room has really come a long way since 2010.
The new Lido Room is Thursday nights in a huge 4,000 SF nightclub space in Midtown Manhattan near Bryant Park. The space has a long bar with a full selection of premium drinks, wine and beer, as well as bottle specials. There is a private lap dance area which is separated from the main floor area by colorful Japanese panel screens. In the lap dance area, there are about 15 full size leather sofas which are very comfortable and great for lap dancing.
The dancers were so young and fresh, and included some college and graduate students, and European women. The dancers ranged from 7 to the 9.5 range. I met this tall blonde from Prague who was incredible and sexy. Another favorite was this petite 21 year old Chinese girl who was cute as a blossom and was a finance major in college.
Granted, there is no club in Manhattan that is HLDC caliber, and there probably never will be, but the Lido Room is now a strong contender (without the private rooms and live shows). I had an amazing time at the Lido Room and I am looking forward to coming back.
