Wednesday at Wonderland

I went to Wonderland (and the LIDO Lounge) around 7:30pm on a Wednesday. To say that it was dead would be an understatement. Only one (1) girl working the LIDO lounge in the back and probably 5-7 girls working the main Wonderland area. Less than 7 customers in the place, and I was the only one with a bracelet to go back to LIDO.

I thought the place was a good setup - big area in front of massive tv screens, surrounded by a bar in the back. If I visited at a busier time, I could see it being a good vibe and you could see everything well. The LIDO lounge in the back was honestly a little creepy, dark, depressing … a small bar, with a leaky ceiling (when I was there). Again, maybe it’s better when it’s busy - but with just me and one (1) dancer … it was a bit awkward.

The upstairs has pretty good privacy and couches for dances, $20 per song. I took the girl from LIDO for a few dances, she was nice, Puerto Rican and enthusiastic — but I just wasn’t feeling it. I looked around at the other girls in Wonderland and they were all 5s and 6s in my opinion - so I decided to bail after less than hour and head home.
