To go or not to go for the hottest girl?
Always go for the hottest girl. You'd be surprised how many times they turn out to be liberal with them sexual matters.

What Attracts you to a Dancer?
Short-term: looks, longer-term: personality. Lots of lookers around. Many fewer with that personality thingy.

How to get More than a Lap Dance
@snowtime: You got it right. This 10-year cs10pro fella is a newbie. IMO, you gotta have at least 2 decades under your belt (3 decades is better) to know what you're talking about. I do tip $20s at the stage but it's to tip the dancer cause she's been good to me prior, not because I expect her to be good to me later. It's mostly for my semi-regulars and regulars. Occasionally for dancers I don't know if they've put on a good show. They come to thank me but rarely do I ask for LDs from them. This newer generation that's attached to LDs (I get my fornication mostly OTC and some ITC) is not my kind of thing. I suspect many of the lurkers out there feel the same way.

How to get More than a Lap Dance
@Jinxi: Thanks for the dancer's perspective. What I've found over the years is that, although women like to be pursued, if there is no STRONG signal of genuine reciprocity -- doesn't return calls or txt messages promptly, shows lackluster initiative, etc. -- then chances are it ain't gonna work out. What confused me when I was younger was the indoctrination that when a guy pursues hard enough (w/o crossing the line to stalking) the girl may come around. That ain't so. The same applies to dancers although the signals can get mixed up in SC settings.

5 "solid" dancers over 10 years? That's slightly better than a monkey typing the works of Shakespeare on a warm afternoon. :-)

Little Things Go A Long Way Proper Tips on Etiquette
"The stage or as I like to call it tip rail is exactly that meant for tipping. It is not a place to lear, cavort, heckle, or simply just gawk. If you are up close and personal you are there for a reason and should tip accordingly." Agree with this part 100%. Assholes that do that destroy the vibe. As to the rest, on the whole you seem a bit uptight avalons07. Some drama and misbehavior is part of the strip club culture where human frailties come to the fore. Within limits. But wouldn't mind visiting a Martha Stewart run titty bar now and then. :-)

    Hooked by a Bargirl
We've all been there. Even a jaded old timer like myself. When it strikes, it strikes. It's a physical thing, so can't do much about it. It's that damn oxytocin thing that screws your brain up. No shame in falling for a girl, even if it's a bar girl. Reminding yourself that she's got zero interest in you except as a source of $$$ can help but not much. Same for the other fish in the sea: they ain't quite the same. Gotta own up and suffer through it. Best one liner I saw scribbled in a SC bathroom wall: "She will never love you."
