I might toftt and check it out tonight. I'm curious if they're going to reduce the cover charge now that they can sell alcohol. Also really curious how much "you want to buy the lady a drink" hustle they're going to have now. I'm expecting the worst but hoping for the best. If it's as bad as I expect I'll just drive down to Kittens.

I do the exact same clubs often on my tour of Portland as well. I've learned to skip this one though. 205 and DV8 are my personal favorites on this list.

I haven't been there yet but according to the Seattle times and their own website Dreamgirls Sodo has alcohol now.

If you do choose to visit this place whatever you do don't agree to sexual services before getting a massage. Where I live they ran a sting operation a few years ago out of an establishment just like this and arrested dozens of guys who agreed to sex before even walking into the massage room. That's another advantage the Asian places have, most police departments don't have any Asian female officers.

At those rates most likely it'll be a fat chick and all you'll get is a HJ. They'll ask for more for a BJ or FS. Where I live you can get a BBBTC and FS for $200 from an AMP but places that advertise Latinas and white ladies always want more money for lower quality service.
You're better off just going to any of the thousands of store front AMPs in your area. At least with those if you don't find the lady attractive you can just make up an excuse like "I forgot my wallet" and walk out the door.

Some of us already do acknowledge that. I drive down to Portland a few times a year for that exact reason. Might have to stop by this weekend now just to check it out. Worst case I'll just finish my beer and drive to Kittens.

Downtown is more hassle than it's worth. Parking is a joke, Homeless everywhere, and the ridiculous prices I refuse to stop anywhere near downtown. The East side dive bars are so much more relaxing and a better value......lap dances are still overpriced though.

If you think this club has a lot of Hispanics I'm assuming you've never been to Cabaret 2. Cab, 205, and DV8 are probably my personal favorites for throwing singles in Portland. I'm far too cheap to pay the lap dance prices in this city though so I always leave early enough to find an AMP to spend an hour at before going back to my room for the night.

Pass. based on what I've heard and my limited experience half naked street walkers are almost always a bad time. I've met a few street walkers over my years that were pretty fun but they always dressed less obvious and weren't walking on a tourist blade controlled by pimps like Figueroa.

No cover, $20 dances, and hot young dancers? I'm 100% stopping here when I'm in town this weekend. Probably make a stop at the other local clubs as well other than the Nile. All the reviews here for that club are old so I did a google review search and figured out why nobody here likes that place. Nothing annoys me more than the "you want to buy the lady a drink" scam. SI will almost certainly be the club I spend the most time at though

How accessible via bus or bike? There's a question I never thought I'd see asked about a strip club. I know Portland is pretty bike friendly but I can't imagine asking the bouncer where I can chain up my bike.

I could be wrong, only been here once but I got the impression this club is more of a night spot. This is why I pretty much just stick with 205 or DV8 if I'm in the Portland area and feel like throwing some singles.

Too be fair that's a pretty accurate description of most of us lol. For real though I have a few thoughts on this.
One it's Reddit, what percentage of strippers actually comment on stripper reddit? Just like this site the vast majority of men that have stepped into a club have never been here.
Second, who cares what some chick half your age thinks of you. I always thought that was kind of the point. Once your done you can leave and skip all the BS of talking about your feelings and pretending to like her favorite shows.
I once had a stripper tell me "That's okay, I'd never talk to you anyway outside the club" after turning down a dance. I just laughed and replied "that's okay because I don't pay for the company of fat bitches" She wasn't the fattest stripper ever but kind of looked like Amy Schumer so biggest than I wanted. I got kicked out but whatever the club sucked anyway.

With there not being alcohol atm is there a cover charge? If night I might stop by in a few weeks when I'm in the area to see if nightshift is any better. Obviously I'll be planning on spending more time at the club down the street though.

DV8 isn't the best at anything but it's above average at everything for Portland.
