Many New Faces

Kitten’s is one of three non-corporate clubs in Seattle. It is located a few miles south of the stadium district. The area is ok-ish and in a mostly industrial area. If you are looking for granite countertops, this is the neighborhood to be in.

As with all Washington clubs (I believe still), this one is alcohol free. That said, rumor (from an employee) has it that one of the corporate clubs will very soon be (and perhaps already has been) serving alcohol. Unsure how that will work or whether others will join. Kittens does share a parking lot with an actual bar. During the day, parking isn’t an issue — plenty of space in the shared lot. Bathrooms ok but center faucet doesn’t work and no paper towel dispenser.

Entry was $11 including a soda. Two stages. One is all decorated out with an aloha(?) theme. Think inflatable pool with a few inches of water, flamingos and palm trees. The other stage was in regular use. Most dancers did a two-song set. Private dance area was $40 per (with most also doing three-for-$100). There are private VIP rooms but I didn’t inquire (and they didn’t seem to be getting heavy use).
