The thought behind this thread is: we are familiar with the Rock strip club anthems like Cherry Pie by Warrant or Rap strip club anthems like, 2 Live Crew, I Wanna Rock but what are the country Strip Club anthems? Any modern ones?

again, we're talking SCs.
No doubt, Presidents are powerful folks and can be in a private room or private head of state party that's an underground strip club party of sorts, but is not a STRIP CLUB.
yeah, obama, bush, reagan may have been to these fancy head of state parties with underground strippers at, but have they ever been to an actual STRIP CLUB is the question.
according to this article, trump has been to an actual strip club

that's the thing, i just don't wanna guess on people who have and who haven't. it's too easy to assume bill has. but maybe he hasn't. i will say this: i saw an article where bill and hillary rented out the 9:30 club in dc.
https://www.washingtonian.com/2016/01/04/the-clintons-rented-out-the-930-club-for-a-white-house-staffer-party-in-2001/
it's no strip club, but it shows bill likes to party.
maybe JFK hit up a stripclub.
again, you'd be surprised who hasn't been to a SC. it's just one of those things that you think everyone kinda goes to, but you find our really, nah they don't. so i don't wanna put it on somebody and assume they've gone but they haven't. i was shocked my cousin who's a year or 2 older than me claimed he's never been to one until like 5 yrs ago. his younger brothers go all the time...i couldn't believe he's never gone in all these years until recently. then again, it's def one of those things--what aren't there like only 3,000+ SCs in The US according to this site. so really, you can't put it on people that they've gone to a SC...
an actress said she asked obama to go to an SC with her is as far as i found. she didn't know why she asked him to do that.

Politics aside, (again, I said Politics aside, please, everybody in the goddamn world knows you hate Obama, no need for you to always come running in everywhere and declare your hatred for Obama, hatred for democrats, etc, so, can you once put that aside)
politics aside it bums me out that Obama may not have ever been to a SC.
I was wondering why that bums me out. Why should I care.
Then I thought, because he's a younger guy. He's the youngest of all the Presidents right now.
From here on out, any future presidents of the US now born in 1960 onwards, if you haven't been to a stripclub, I don't care the reason, I don't care of your politics, man, that would just bum me out if you're my President born in this 'modern' age and haven't been to a SC--i don't care if it was only once and you hated it.
W. Bush could've visited a SC before.
But SCs are so tricky. You'd think someone has been to one but they'll swear up and down they never have.

I also was in the same area last night, around midnight, so I stopped by to check out Ebony Inn. I noticed immediately that there were very few cars parked in the church parking lot across the street from the club. Once inside, the bar was open and the establishment was open and serving carryout, but a lady at the bar said no girls would be dancing tonight, Saturday, April 10. She didn't have a direct answer or specify exactly why, just relayed that it's 'Covid-shutdown' related...
I heard later, at a different spot that Sinsaysionals has reopened in Lanham, recently. But I didn't venture to check it out.

I'll never understand the hate people have for certain politicians, without ever meeting them personally nor knowing them personally.
Who cares if you think you know their policies because you read it somewhere or saw it on TV.
I'm a Democrat. But I personally welcome anyone. I don't hate Trump. I've not met him. I don't hate Bush or McConnell or Romney. I haven't met them personally.
There was a time, I was silly enough to think I wouldn't visit The White House, while Bush was President because I disagreed with him. I've changed. If invited, I'm meeting everybody and anybody. One day, I realized: I haven't met Bush, why hate him? Because what I HEARD or seen ON TV; newspapers? That's not enough. And more importantly, these politicians hold our lives in their hands; directly and/or indirectly. They hold our lives and our futures in their hands, as well as the lives of our friends, our neighbors our children. Politicians can vote to goto war. Politicians can vote to take away your guns and leave you defenseless.
Respect everybody. Bar none. We should drop all the name-calling and generalizations towards certain politicians. You can still disagree. But I encourage everyone to go and physically meet people in person, then maybe you can judge.
But for me, ever since I adopted this different attitude towards all politicians, etc, I feel better and I see folks differently. When you see everyone negatively, you get stuck in that world. When you see folks positively, you see things way more differently, you see opportunities, etc.
I'll end with this. As I said, I'm a life-long Democrat. I'm not fond of Republicans. But I adopted this new way of thinking when I was in Texas once, and saw the future graves of Bush Sr and Barbara as well as the resting place of the daughter they lost. Made me think: I was never fond of The Bushes, buy here I am staring at their future graves. Gotta let all that go, man. They're both dead now, too.
If you get a chance to meet anyone, especially folks you disagree with, meet them. They'll remember you and your cause better than if they automatically know you dislike them...

Heel: she spoke first. Right after I recognized her, I still stayed watching her like a creep. lol. She broke from her li'l crew for a sec, she said what's up and gave me a look that said: don't give me away, I'm being myself at the moment.
We exchanged contacts numbers but we didn't hook up again.
I do wonder what became of her...she was down to earth. We're the same age. We were both in college at the time.
According to the catalog from the agency that sent out entertainment and sent her to me (that I still have; I remember at first being disappointed when she showed up because we were the same age and I complained to my college buddies at the time I wanted a woman, someone older; why was I spending my money on someone young like me? But it turned out the agency was right; we clicked. I ordered her 2x) she did dance at a strip club at that time. I recognized a tattoo on her back then and was like, you're in a sorority? She looked alarmed and was like don't tell anyone.
Thinking about it now: hey, didn't they put her picture in a catalog for entertainment and state where she danced? Like noone she knew would recognize her? Ah, well.

3 pointer
A dancer sees I'm about to dip and asked if I'd give her a ride home. I'm like, sure. Without asking, she invites another dancer along. (1 point.) We leave the club, stop at fast food spot and order drive-thru. (1 point). We agree we're not tired-tired yet, so we 3 head over to the late-late strip club. The dancers show me a short cut route to that club I didn't know about. (1 point). They both work at the late late club and squeeze more money outta me.

2 cliche points
I'm at a local, ho-hum mall near my home during the summer where this one pretty girl in street clothes and a li'l crew of giggling girlfriends catches my eye. I find myself staring at her and watching her every move; thinking how come I never meet girls like her.
Finally, after watching her for 20+ min or so, at one point she bends over and a lightbulb knocks me off my feet: it's the stripper from an agency catalog that I'd ordered twice to come to my college suite a year ago during the semester. My college and that stripper agency are both located in a different city. Shocking she's hanging out in my hometown. At the boring ho-hum mall. Later, she walked up a said hello.
It's such a laaaame TV sitcom cliche, but I honestly didn't recognize her with clothes on--until she bent over.

For me, it was a private stripper house party. I got there a little early. Someone misinformed me and said the only available restroom was a small bathroom straight through the dancers designated changing room--while they were in the middle of changing to start this party. I didn't know dancers were in there.
Actually, there was another bathroom, but it was too late.
It was packed in that designated dancers changing room. All types of women in all states of undress. They squealed and protested when my shocked self tried to part through the mass of undressed chicks to get to the bathroom. Then they started clawing at my clothes to undress me as a protest. Sounds awesome, but I was shook. Don't forget: any of em could snatch my wallet or cell phone in different directions. And it's a bunch of wild hands grabbing, pushing, tugging on to your clothes pulling you off balance against you and you alone trying to keep everything together. I felt like a running back. I made it to the bathroom and didn't come out until my cell and wallet, keys, etc were tucked deep in me.
But as I left the bathroom, none of the girls harassed me again. Too busy getting ready. Or they realized I just needed the bathroom...

my apologies that this suggested clip appears in the gay section of pornhub.
that's where the website classified it. but i'd argue that the event and the video aim to be non-sexual. there are kids present at their events, so for the website to classify this as gay, is a matter of their opinion. there are other videos and/or video clips on porn hub. but i chose this one because it's one of the longer clips you'll find with the best camera clarity.
i read that this is for charity. but i wonder what spectators are supposed to get out of this, besides the charity. i mean, it's probably more fun to be playing in the game than to be just watching, no? in one of the other videos, there's a kid yawning in the crowd.
one of the best things is that they have a blind referee for some matches. she's literally blind. pretty funny & cool, IMO

i've got so many questions.
i think i vaguely heard about this back in 2011 when it really became a hit for some reason, but i didn't follow up to see what the fuss was about.
i stumbled across this the other day because i enjoy videos of women appearing nude in public--so a video with rachel scott popped up as one of the 'suggested videos' for me to check out on pornhub. there's a short video of her being bodypainted along with the dudes from the nude rugby team just before their match.
i wonder how cold it was when they play these matches in public. seems like most folks are wearing jackets, etc. i read somewhere that by rachel playing it added something like 4 million hits of interest.
i wonder what are other folks thoughts when stumbling across this...

real quick: to be clear, again that chick that wore that jedi brown hoodie with a thong as janet jackson's song "would you mind came on", she spent half the song just making her entrance from the dressing room way back in the corner and shadows to the stage in the middle of the room. she glided slowly. stopping some points, dancing the whole time. but you couldn't see her face. her hoodie was completely over her head. that janet song blasting through the speakers. as she danced by, people threw money at her. again, she spent half the damn song, making her entrance. listen to the song and you can picture it. and she could dance. but the way she danced, it was like she was the only person in the room. it just made you think. like, she was doing this entrance weather folks tipped her $500 along the way or zero dollars along the way. you just don't get that today. girls just don't do that today. she was doing this to put some artistry to the music. to put some real dance and showmanship into a song. it didn't matter it was in front of a room of mostly broke blue-collar guys.
again, to me, i feel like nobody's gonna walk out when a dancer is in the middle of doing a performance like that. she didn't make her way from the dressing room to the stage in a straight line, either, she was erratic. she went all around the room. so you had to watch.
i'm remembering being in florida on spring break in college and watching a chick on stage dance to aerosmith's "angel" and feeling like it was just her and me in the room.
and i'm not faulting clubs for not playing these types of songs. i'm saying today's artists aren't making these types of songs for clubs to play.

this article has appeared here on this website before and was discussed around a year ago.
plus this canadian article is about 3 years old, today
IMO, strip clubs need to reinvent themselves to serve a younger clientele. they are a different generation, nowadays, these young folks hitting the clubs. today's SCs can't operate wholly the same way that was accepted a generation ago...they gotta change a few things...
when this topic came up last time, i tried to blame the music for the decline in strip club popularity. i pointed out that today's strip clubs (to me) play a lot of trap and rap music. and that's fine. and, hey, the dancers seem to go with it. and the music actually "fits" today's vibe. i dig the music too.
but when i was coming up in the early 90s, back then, strip clubs still played a ton of slower songs: r&b, easy listening, soul, country, classic rock, even jazz or simply instrumentals. and dancers danced to it heartily (in my opinion--yes, it was a different time). and it gave the SC a different vibe--girls would create a fantasy around these slower songs. and to me, SCs are always at the heart all about fantasy. imagination.
with slow songs, these dancers can better exaggerate movements or make eye contact or simulate / drag-out a dramatic emotion through dance. and johns would watch heartily, like he's watching tv...spending time and money....slowly. slow songs and a good dancer could make a stripper pole come alive. people would pay for that. i always said: show me the best (true) dancer in your strip club, no matter what she looks like or her personality and i'll show you the dancer with the most goddamned money.
i feel like the lack of slow songs is killing SCs. fast. girls don't have to wear super sexy outfits like they used to when SCs were playing slow songs.
janet jackson's "would you mind" slow r&b song comes to mind. where i was clubbing, this song was a favorite for girls to dance to and usually popped up in someone's 3-song set. each girl would do their best to come up with their own interpretation of the song complete with a sexy outfit to start it off with before they got naked. it was interesting to see what her take would be--how her outfit would crush the last girl who danced to this same damned song and wore something. this (to me) kept johns in their seats, because it was like watching TV where you didn't have to do any work, just watch someone try to entertain you. to me, nothing made you wanna slowly nurse a beer more than a girl slowly dancing to queensryche's "silent lucidity" with a pole, some of her eye contact and the unspoken body language between you two. you don't get that with todays trap and rap music. and i'm not against the genre.
also, with the slow songs back in the day and why it works in strip clubs are the lyrics. that also helped with the fantasy. you got a healthy bad-ass blonde dancing very slowly to cheap trick's "the flame" elaborately, arching her back, slowly whip that hair, you feel the sad lyrics, you feel the lyrics of longing. your imagination takes off. is she single? she dances so good to this song, i wonder what she'll dance to next. i wonder what she'll wear next.
forever etched in my memory is one chick who started off her 3-song set with janet jackon's "would you mind". the song started, she came out of the dressing room slowly. she had on a thong, but also wore a thin hoodie--that covered her face and head. listen to the beginning of that song, and you can imagine a chick slowly, making her way from the dressing room to the stage in the middle of the room, still wearing a dark hoodie like she's a jedi where you can't see her face or head so you're not sure which dancer is coming out. but she has on a thong. you're gonna watch that entire entrance. no way you're leaving. this is what strip clubs are missing when they don't play slow songs.
another memory etched in my head, the first time i saw a chick dance to usher's song "confession". it just came out. she wanted to be the first in the club to dance to it. she killed it too. sometimes where i hear the song, i think of her.
if i owned a strip club, it'd be a must that classic slow songs get it's fair share....

pros:
*interesting to see which local dancers do show up
*enjoy the different vibe..(it's not a weekend vibe)
*by partying on a tuesday, you don't have to party on the wkend
cons
*there's no way you're leaving without spending money, usually
*less 'fun' dancers available verses free-spirit weekends
*always tension in the air something bad could happen
add/on
