If you ever question a review or reviewer's validity, let us know. We will investigate. Some people try to submit the same review for different clubs. They are immediately deleted from the database, reviews and all.

Disk space is cheap. Keeping all old messages is not really that hard on the server.

CasualGuy, you are correct sir. That way if someone floods a club with 10's every month, and there are 12 other reviews that are 5's, it will average out to 70/13 or just over 5.3

Casualguy, you can click on states, then find the city from there. Hope this helps.
I may have spoke too soon on bringing the zip code search back. The maps are just the same if not better than zip code searching. Go to the map and click on the city you're heading to. It's simple.

Minnow, I took away the ability for non-members to view the clubs reviewed by a member because it is a valuable feature, and if people want that info, they need to join and contribute.
The discussion board will be sorted the old way soon. working on it now.

To the guys with the zip code comments: Use the Mapping Feature "By Area Map" and click where your hotel is. That works better than any zipcode feature we've had in the past.
The Advanced Search is coming back. It should be finished soon.
All the old top 40 List will return as well.
the PDA version... well... we're considering it.

I will give this one shot, and one shot only.
The review that I think you're referring to was not controversial. It was obviously a joke review. It should have never been published. The review and the reviewer's account were deleted.
The new tuscl (soon to be released) will try to curb poor and false reviews.

I am re-writing it from the ground up in a different language. It should be easier to use. The hot list will have more features. Ranking/Rating is being replaced with something more meaningful. Club discussions will be threaded like the discussion board. I'm sure some people will hate it, but I think it will be more streamlined and easier to use.

we never killed any thread... they simply drop off if there is no activity in them... as for sharing how to write scripts to redirect, well, I will leave that as an excerise to the reader

ShotDisc... the reason your reviews were rejected was just that they were too short... if you want to post one-liners, do it in chat... one line reviews dont help travellers find a good club. If you want to post reviews for no credit, let me know.

not true. what you don't like in a club, another person might like. give us at least 5 sentences per review if you want credit.
