Detroit 11th Precinct, NE Eight Mile area east of Mound, Capt, Tim Leach, your public servant and the club dancer terrorist. Gals, get a lawyer, make these perverts testfy in public court. Uses probation trainee undercovers, cowardly hooded raid techniques. Alledged purpose harass dancers with Detroit only blue laws (butt cheek coverage). and ID checks for bench warrent deadbeats. Zero mainsream news coverage. As it doesn't bleed, it doesn't lead. Of course we have the average 3 killings per night here. Fun City.

VH_K, yeah, Detroit is tough, and the city proper is a mess. Most of the PL's are ex-yuppies, living in the 'burbs. Been to other club centers, and Detroit is unique, especially if you understand the 'local' flavor and culture. After all, we suffer together with the worse winter (no kidding, -5 this morning)in history, ne'er-do-well Lions, Tigers, Red Wings, Pistons, and the daily shootings, rapes, and crazy leadership. As a consequence,we mtuhafuckas do each other bareback or covered for reasonable prices, love it, and are thankful that pussy/cock/relief is available.
In other places, prosperity may make paying bills easier, and we could root for a good sports team, but the price of unavailable relief may be too high to tolerate. Sticking with Detroit!

All, yes, random tip asking does happen, and is here to stay, although it never went away. So the lesson for dancers and shot girls is: Nothing ventured, nothing gained. If you don't ask, nothing. If you do ask, worse that happens is, nothing. And a parting fun tease will probably pay off...later. But the guilt trip does have a high payoff. PL solution is to man up, stay polite (slap? In Detroit? Death wish. Really?), ask for name, be nice, but firmly reply, "No thank you," and look away. First one that speaks after that loses. "Best way to avoid fight is do not go to it," Kesuke Miyagi.
Now, if the dancer is attractive to you, say no thank you, but ask her to join you, buy a drink, and enjoy the reason that you are there.

OneAngryDwarf, yes Texas is good, like 'how' says. Really also liked Houston and Dallas.
I am Detroit based, and our Clubs are great, minimal hassle, YMMV but can be great once you make some friends, like the bartenders and bouncers. Sure it is the same for you, if you are OK to the staff, the staff is OK to you. Great hunting!

It is as Charlie Sheen says, "Pay for sex? Hell, I pay them to stay away!"

Too much of a good thing is never enough
Agree. Yeah, prices are high at most of Allen's clubs, mainly as dancer tip out is highest.

In a nut shell, nickel dime charges are unfriendly. They should also have $3.00 club cover for all., and ASK, if new member works for DPD, ATF, or State Liquor Commision.

Accurate. Nick's destroyed the local bar, replacement idea is a mess. Bad DJ, neighborhood is black and white, no middle east like Dearborn. Weird, used to be fun

Excellent points about stage tipping works, and lack of regulars.

Dancer quality has dropped off about 50%, SCARED Off by cops, especially on the northeast side of the D, 11th Precinct boys, Tom Leach, has been raiding weekly, most of the time with hooded rookie cops, and very heavy handed tactics. Kinda like 1930's Eur

Accurate. The tall blond, 5' 11" bare foot, is at least a seven, and fun. Worth a try!

Accurate, had similar "cosmetic" rules recited by (2) others! Really?
