Most underrated locale for SCs?

Dwarf, a friend and I roadtripped two summers ago to see some baseball games at the new Pirates' park. Great place! Fun trip too. Didn't visit any strip clubs then though.

I'll have to come back to visit some clubs there. I'll have to think of a reason to go though, as some might wonder "Who goes to Pittsburgh for vacation?" and I've got no reason to go now (well, other than to broaden my cultural background...)

El Paso, TX.

BJ and FS is available at almost every club, and often for no premium over dance prices. Some of the clubs have only a few attractive dancers, but there are almost always enough choices to find one to your liking.

speaking of pittsburgh pirates baseball I remember reading something that their highest paid MLB player is still not even paid the MLB league average. Sounds like a depressed economy over there.

I live within 3 hours driving distance of Pittsburgh and Indianapolis. One of these days I will make a road trip to one or both of those cities...

Sam, I know Indy/Kokomo are good; unknown about Pittsburgh. Perhaps Dwarf will help us narrow the reviews to consider by naming his top 5?

El Paso?!? What would be an explanation for traveling there?!? Shower curtain ring convention? ("Planes, Trains, and Automobiles" reference) Just have to get a side-job selling shower curtain rings...

OneAngryDwarf, yes Texas is good, like 'how' says. Really also liked Houston and Dallas.
I am Detroit based, and our Clubs are great, minimal hassle, YMMV but can be great once you make some friends, like the bartenders and bouncers. Sure it is the same for you, if you are OK to the staff, the staff is OK to you. Great hunting!

@samsung: Depressed economy? Hardly (sure, nothing like it was in the heyday of the steel industry but we're doing ok). Depressed baseball team? Absolutely. :-)

Since someone asked for it, I'll go ahead with my top clubs in case anyone does decide to visit:

1 and 2 (tie)-Cheerleaders/Blush. Sorry, I couldn't really decide between the two, they're that close. Both have high dancer quality and quantity, and great (though pricey) lapdances. 3. Silky's, McKees Rocks-a great "value" alternative to the above clubs (as well as Erotica down the road). $10 cover includes free beer all night. No real extras (at least in the club) but great high-contact dances from some of the friendliest strippers I've met. 4. Beemer's, McKeesport-takes a bit of of patience and luck, but you can have a very good time in a reasonably priced VIP with the right girl.

I know of cheerleaders but only because they spammed every single columbus, OH strip club discussion board on stripclublist to advertise their grand opening.

I second how's opinion on El Paso. I was there a couple months ago visiting a buddy who works for a government contractor at Fort Bliss. I regret not going out another night to the clubs, because it was my impression everything was available and available cheaply.

I always think of Des Moines as an underrated locale, although I haven't gone there in a year.

how & DandyDan, Excellent news on El Paso. I'm supposed to go there (actually White Sands) on business in a few months. Do you recommend any specific club?

Steve, here's a generic rundown on El Paso clubs (always subject to change and YMMV, etc) -- Jaguars: Best looking dancers. Most expensive (30 per VIP dance) and least likely to include extras. Red Parrot: Good mix of dancers. Outside city limits to the East on I-10. Weekday manager (John Spencer) ruins atmosphere, but if he is not there, anything goes. Dreams: New club, also on I-10 just East of town. Reportedly very fancy; no idea about extras. Montana Hideaway: East on Montana Ave. Mixed bag of talent, but practically guaranteed ultimate mileage. Cabaret: Might be your best choice for a sure thing. Hit-or-miss on finding a worthy dancer. Foxy's: All nude, in spite of the new ordinance from a couple of years ago that bans full nudity. About a 50% chance of ultimate mileage.

Steve- Not sure I can really make a recommendation on El Paso, being I only went to 4 of the clubs there, plus its probably the first and last time I'll ever be in that area, but based on the clubs I went to, I would love to go back to Foxy's and Montana Hideaway. I'm not sure what to say about Cabaret. It seemed like it could be fun, but it probably helps if you are Mexican. The other place I went, the Lamplighter, is on the short list of worst clubs I ever went to, and is possibly the worst club still open within my clubbing experience.

Thanks guys, I was thinking about Jaguars (since I'm used to over-paying) and Red Parrot based on recent reviews, but now I think I'll try and check out some other options as well.

Maybe Lamplighter so I can do a BaddJack style nightmare review?

Um, Steve: Do you really want to pursue The Lamplighter when you were the one concerned about losing kidneys???

Here's a short list of under-appreciated locales, most of which I was fortunate to visit on business trips:

1. Austin TX - not exactly the mileage capital of Texas, but very nice quality of girls at several clubs, and a variety of clubs to choose from
2. Fort Myers FL - a few clubs, and with Tampa up the road, overlooked, but my limited time there suggests a regular could do well with the ladies
3. Reno NV - another smaller place with potential

Now the BAD places you would think should be better, and with no intent to offend you if you live there:

1. Birmingham AL - OK girl quality , but low mileage, and a typical mistrust of outsiders
2. New Orleans - girls, girls, girls! Yeah, right.
3. Wash DC - low mileage capital of AMerica; there must be another game in town we are not privy to (oh, yeah, $2,000 hookers!)

I spent many an hour in Ft. Myers clubs and found them "just a place to have a beer" type of clubs. Now this was a few years ago, so things might have changed, but I never saw anything special about the clubs there, and I visited everyone more than a time or two.

I'd add Vancouver to the list of "opposite" cities that one might think would be better. Beautiful city overall, but the SCs I visited were completely lame.

I'd put Reno in the disappointment category. With Mustang Ranch ads atop every taxi (and the Ranch just outside of town), it's pretty obvious a certain establishment doesn't want competition on the extras end. To which Reno club Goldfinger was recently busted on Prostitution charges. Plus, the taxi drivers can make a huge windfall for a fare out to the Ranch and probably get a bounty for any info leading to a Reno strip club bust. So be careful what you tell a taxi driver when leaving a club...

OneAngryDwarf- That makes going to the Olympics next year sound like a bad idea.

Many year ago, I flew from Los Angeles to Vancouver just to party. I stayed at a 5 star hotel. Unescorted ladies were not allowed into the hotel lounge. I was so bored after one night, that I jumped onto a plane the next day and flew to San Francisco and North Beach. There were 5 CP AIR pilots also on the flight. I ran into them at a club on North Beach.

I have a TUSCL buddy (trogangreg)that has been there for about a year on business. He says that strip clubbing there sucks. Expensive and low contact lap dances. He was happier than a pig in shit when he got to take a weeks vacation in Los Angeles. I think that Greg still has a house here in Atlanta. I gotta Email him.
