Early to mid 80’s
I went to a club once and I swear 75% of the dancers were Heather Locklear look-a-likes
It’s often hard to find an attractive dancer in clubs today unless you like grotesque body ink, piercings, and phat ass twerkers

Like I said, it’s been awhile but when I lived in Indiana for awhile I’d go there a lot
Super cute girl next door types. Usually not a problem getting attention but some dancers can really gravitate toward regulars. Especially in the afternoon day shift. There are guys that literally come every day to get a beer and drink with the girls

A brief comments on dress…. While I did leave my white 3-piece polyester suit at home, I did wear my usual SC attire of soft khaki pants, a nice golf golf shirt and nice shoes - and often felt a little overdressed
The typical customer is a central Indiana redneck. NASCAR t-shirt, jeans and a Jeff Gordon ball cap. A few biker types - not gangs - but the guy that drives a Harley and wears a bandana and has a wallet on a chain.

It’s been 10 years since I’ve been there but I’m guessing not much has changed.
Don’t have high expectations. It’s not a high end gentleman’s club. Not sure I’d call it a dive, but it has the feel of a regular small down bar. But it’s totally safe. Dances are out in the open. And are cheap but not a place for extras - unless I suppose one can prematurely LDK with some grinding

Probably my first experience with a lot of roundabouts was in Massachusetts. But they are becoming more popular in the Midwest. People don’t follow the rules so they’re just a mess.
The internet says the cost of installing a traffics signal is as high as $500,000 plus $8000 per year to maintain. Seems high to me, but I still understand the argument that a roundabout is cheaper than a traffic light. Ok, that’s fine for new installs, but I’ve see instances where they’ve took out a traffic light and installed a roundabout That’s sheer lunacy.

I had a rental car in the Bahamas where they drive on the left side of the road. But most cars are American with steering wheels that are on the left so I think it makes it harder to drive than in the UK where most cars have the steering wheels on the right.
It wasn’t too hard to adjust - except I did make a left turn once and automatically turned into the right lane and almost had an accident.
What was more difficult was dealing with more aggressive drivers. They pull out in front of you, don’t obey speed limits and round-a-bouts are common. The worst invention in the history of transportation.

For years some club managers have instituted dress codes that smacks of racism to keep the majority of the customers white - no white T-shirts, no baseball caps, athletic suits, basketball shorts etc…

I’ve always looked at it this way - if I walk into a high end clothing or furniture store, I expect a sales person to approach me. They should value me enough as a customer to ask me if they can be of service. I expect the same of strip clubs - and mostly it’s worked out. Not to say there are some clubs where I’ve left disappointed because the dancers work on a different sales model

From the responses here, I seem to be in the minority. When I go to a club, I’m there for the evening - not short on time, no rush. I will stage tip, often generously, to get a girl’s attention. And maybe twice in my life I’ve asked a waitress for assistance. But I’ve never approached a dancer on the floor.
I’ll pay for pussy.

But I won’t beg to pay for pussy.
Others have a different approach and that’s fine. But I’m old school where I think it’s her job as a salesperson to seek out customers
