@herbtcat, just another lesson to abide by the rule to never "front" any dancer anything...I'm sure this has happened to most here (myself included, a long time ago when I was dumb!), but sometimes needs repeating for newbies to read!

Gee, and I was just with one last week in Ohio who said, when we were all finished, "damn we should have recorded this" ! LOL!

As "Desertscrub" would say..Club ad of the day. Most things stated here have NOT been my experience stopping in occasionally during the day over the past 2 years or so. Dancers rarely sit with you to converse unless you are a regular. Over the past two years there were only 2 or 3 who actually came and said hello whenever I would visit, and sit and chat, and those two or 3 appear to be gone now, since I have not seen them for a long time. I was just there this past Monday (5/20) from 12:30-2:00 in the afternoon and no one even took the stage during that time, which is good from the pocketbook side of things, no tipping required! There were about 3-4 dancers working, and I was one of 4 customers total. Most of the time these dancers are hanging out in the dressing room, emerging to see who is there as a customer, then returning to the dressing room. One did emerge and sat with me for about 10 minutes, but the conversation was labored, not much to discuss. She eventually said "I'll be right back", we all know what that means. I left shortly thereafter....as always, your experience may be different.

Glad to see I am not the only one that thinks the new lighting sucks! Generally agree with the other negatives as well, but let's face, when the club is one of the few games in town, management gets to be as asshole-ish as they like! Money talks, and until it vaporizes, nothing changes, sad....

I have not been to the Late Night in many, many years, probably at least 12, but in any of my few visits there, there was never any worthwhile talent...

A shame, I had a good time here about 5 years ago on a Thursday afternoon while in town. Well, maybe someone will resurrect it from the ashes and finally fill in the giant hole in the parking lot!!

Always the rule...never, ever tip upfront!! Nuff said!

Cover should have been $5 daytime, unless they increased it, if you are a Military Veteran, no cover. Agree about the regulars and ignoring others, but hey, their choice unfortunately. See my 9/11 review...

Great article, thanks for taking the time to write it. It mirrors many of my own observations over the years (I'm a little older than you), as well as my OTC hookups as well, the most recent being two weeks ago, which turned out to be fantastic!
