Tittie Time?

Recently my favorite haunt Clancys has had a diminishing talent pool. This phenomenon has led me to be concerned that other clubs are poaching! Vexed to a nightmare I was lured out of my stomping grounds on a reconnaissance mission. I checked the website of exit 11 in order to confirm that normal Gogo bar hours were observed. The website assured me that by late afternoon they would be open. I left work just a splash early and jumped on route 280. I got off on exit 11 and within minutes was on Day Street.

I had never been on this liminal space street before. To accuse it of being in a dangerous neighborhood might be, well I couldn’t say overstated, but perhaps a bit pussyish. However to say that it was in a safe neighborhood would clearly be erroneous. I’ve been to Orange New Jersey before in order to visit VIP. VIP is on Main Street which as the name indicates is on a major street. Day street is a side street. There is a municipal parking Lot a block up the road from this Gogo bar. I was not able to park in this lot the first time I drove through. A second time around revealed a parking space which I took advantage of.

I walked with a purpose down the sketchy road in search of titties. The entrance to the tittie bar was not altogether obvious. I saw the sign for the club. I saw the door to the club. There was something off about it though. No bouncer. I’m not used to bouncers at gogo bars but there was no bouncer. No lights. Nothing that gave strong indication that this was the place to enter. My purposeful walk lost it’s swagger as I stood around looking like a stupid fucker assessing whether this was indeed the entrance. I will say that I don’t recommend standing around looking like a stupid fucker on this particular street. This nonsense only lasted a minute and I entered the strip club.
