Apocalypse Now
Quick visit early Sunday afternoon to see if the rumors were true. No cover, no pat down, no ID check. Not many dancers working (less than 10), even fewer working the floor. Less than 10 customers at this time as well, including one older dude at the bar who had dyed his hair and beard pink (not a good look).
A dancer I have known and loved for years came out of the dressing room. She sat on my lap, we did one song on the floor (wall dances ARE $10 again) and went to VIP. Booths are turned around now, facing back out to the floor. The wall is now half wood, and half glass, but even more troublesome is the bank of four new, hi-resolution cameras mounted on the ceiling. scanning ALL the booths on the right hand side of VIP. My dancer gave me two very mediocre VIP laps, apologizing for her lack of interaction. Paid her $60, walked out of VIP and left. As I was leaving, I spotted a stunning redhead sitting on another customer's lap. Normally, I would have waited that out and danced with her, but now there is no point. Farewell, Hi-Liter, hope that liquor license for Centerfolds is worth it.
