Continues to be tonedeaf

So I used to be a regular of this place several years ago. It has it's great points (women always dressed classy, great talent given the terrible area in which it resides, good food, good theme nights) but it continues to have issues catering to its audience. There's still a mandatory coat check here that costs money as well as the cover charge of $5 during the day, $10 at minimum in the evenings, so you're already hit pretty decently before you walk through the metal detector and walk in. Their drink prices are still relatively reasonable at approx $4 to $5 each for a beer or well mixer, not terrible there. Also helps that the bartenders provide decent service and are always dressed sexy. Decor is still very upscale and yes, all the dancers are still required to dress in ball gowns (WHAT?!?!) at all times. But before you walk in, you'll be required to check your cell phone as you cannot bring it into the club with you. BIG problem for me, especially in 2019. What about people who have to be able to take calls for work? What about dads (or moms!) out for a night of fun who have a babysitter at home? I get that they are looking out for the security of the girls' anonymity, but there are MUCH better ways to go about it. Force patrons to keep their phones below the bar for texting and to step outside if they need to make a call, that seems like a fine compromise. Again, this is freakin' 2019, who amongst us want to be without our phones for any reason? If that wasn't bad enough, they've also now banned smoking of any kind within the establishment. While I know that might be a pro for some, this used to be a great place to kick back after work with a smoke or have some cigars on a guys night out or bachelor party, both of which they allegedly cater to. Another significant drawback IMO. And as always, there will not be ANYTHING extra that goes on here, as lap dances are completely air and won't be anything you'd get any pleasure out of for $20 bucks a pop. The talent is still way above average for a club in the broke purgatory known as Harrisburg, and sadly this is still the best option for seeing hotties strip down in Central PA, but there are serious drawbacks that come with the place - namely its tonedeaf management who continue to stick to old ways while making new changes (lighting, anybody? AWFUL) that flat-out SUCK. I'm glad I'm no longer in the area on a regular basis, as the changes in the club as well as their archaic policies make it no longer up this guy's alley. Shame, I absolutely used to have fun here awhile back.
