JimJazz, I'd very much like to. However, I don't want to risk Mouse calling me a fascist again. I think he's of the grasshopper mice variety. They can be formidable when they get they're hackles up. So, I'll write a prayer for C&S, instead.

The three day holidays are either feast or famine, depending on the day and the club. I remember on labor day week in a neighborhood club with regular customers. The dancers were all complaining that they they made about of quarter of normal week because everyone had vacationed. It seemed to effect that club severely in particular.

Generalities are are misleading and don't really hold up too well in all cases. In all the years I've gone to clubs, I've seen the complete range of women who worked as strippers from those that defied the stereotypes to those that defined them. I have to agree with the previous post, generalities are a way for simple-minded people to express themselves without having anything substanative to discuss.

I think 27 million pounds sterling is a GROSSLY OVER-INFLATED PRICE for NOOKIE IN SPACE. A more reasonable price for NOOKIE IN SPACE is 6 pounds sterling.

This occured in Norway. In the US it's a different story. A woman took advantage of a guy who passed out drunk at a Christmas party, saved the semen to impregnat herself, and even bragged about having "saved a trip to the sperm donor's clinic." She sued the guy for child support and won even under those circumstances.

It looks like they want to have it both ways, the say it's important for women to be married, but then say single women do better. So, that begs the question, which is it? As to whether or not the relationship split is harder on the woman, then why are most divorces ended by women? I think the relationship split is harder on the person who got dumped, inspite which ever gender.

This article seems to confirm what I've said before about to return to classic striptease. You really have to stretch the first ammendment to include a lapdance which is more of a commercial service than performance. When striptease is combined with artistic value it becomes defensible except to the extremists on either end of the political spectrum.

Listing extras is just asking for trouble, for all parties, even the owner of this website. In theory, he could be accused of promoting prostitution. While it might be a stretch to a rational thinking person, the moralists then to go ballistic over something like that. Yoda and the others have pointed out the problems for other people already. Best to be descrete about the issue. Besides, would such a listing be that reliable, anyway? Or, just a forum for disingenuous braggarts and teenagers axious to pull a prank.

I think he's getting off easy. Prison time hould have been imposed as a fine of $1 million represents nothing more than chump change to this sleazy swine. The Cat's Meow, a dancer that was posting here, said she used to work for this mobster and called him, "sleazy." She never elaborated on the remark, but but I can assume he treats the dancers like disposable matterial.

AspiringDancer, welcome to the board. First off, I should warn you that this board is unmoderated. So, some wise ass adolescents and mental defectives take full advantage of that to flame and insult people, esp. dancers. Don't give them the satisfication by responding, just ignore them.
To answer your question about the pole tricks, yes, a newbie ccan do the pole. One of the easiest is to do a verticle split with your legs. You reach up and grab the pole, and standing on one leg, you slide the other foot up toward the your hand.

I think this comes under the idea that there's no such thing a bad publicity in the matter of A&F's nudes catalogue and thongs for preteens. It works great for awhile, but it leads to an inevitable backlash. The initial, reactionary cries to ban it only serve to further advertise. Yet, after the opposition calms down, they find other, more effective, ways of retaliating. A&F's sales are down and they've announced that they will discontinue the nudes catalogue.
