Not necessarily your favorite but what one have you seen the most. I don't really watch movies or TVs much for some years now but sometimes your stuck on a plane and don't want to splurge 40 bucks for internet.
I was on a plane recently and you would not believe the garbage that Hollywood puts out, it's unwatchable. But I saw Top Gun available and just decided to watch that for the billionth time, it's probably the leader all time for me. It's just got all the 80's cheesiness I like. Kenny Loggins all that good shit.
2nd is probably Goodfellas. Then maybe the original Matrix.

Dancing at The Blue Iguana
Too many to mention all of them but I like raunchy comedies like:
Porkys Fast times at Ridgemont High American pie
It's probably one of Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark or Blues Brothers
Probably Transformers (2007). Cable TV has played that a million times since it's been able to get played on TV. I'm not much of a movie re-watcher these days, I rarely have seen a movie more than twice in the streaming days. I do like going to hotels and channel surfing and catching a movie I haven't seen in awhile, like Enemy of The State with Will Smith or see a movie I saw in theaters awhile ago like Here Comes The Boom with Kevin James, I just had that last experience in a Drury Inn Hotel in Creve Coeur.
Actually I forgot Ferris Buellers day off that might even be number 1 for me in terms of times watched
The Princess Bride, our kids loved it, wore out a VHS copy of it.
Followed by Space Balls, The Neverending Story, and Shakespeare in Love. At least that one had glimpses of boobs 😋
I haven’t really kept stats, but a few that would contend
The Blues Brothers Empire Strikes Back Chicken Run
Magnificent 7 (the one with Steve McQueen and Charles Bronson) Godfather 2 Weird Science
Blazing Saddles CaddyShack Blues Brothers
Caddyshack My Cousin Vinny Planes, Trains & Automobiles Shawshank Remember The Titans
Either Back to the Future 2, Fast Times, or Shawshank
Shawshank
Chariots of Fire Shawshank Redemption Princess Bride
I’m guilty of this, aside from sports I rarely watch any TV shows, and sometimes I don’t want to invest the effort into watching a new movie so I’ll put on a movie I watched 100 times already. Mine is probably Ghostbusters, because Bill Murray’s sarcasm makes that movie.
Rounders, Back II The Future, Semi-Pro and Inception are up there too.
The Cheerleaders starring Stephanie Fondue and Denise Dillaway. Weekend at Bernie's Spring Breakers with Selena Gomez
Agree with @sushiman on Blazing Saddles and Caddy Shack. Old School might rival them for most times watched, but I don't count. The only reason that Scarface isn't #1 for me is it's so long you can't watch that often.
The Guns of Navarone The Bridge on the River Kwai Patton
^ Patton... Good call. I've seen about 10 times.
"Not necessarily your favorite but what one have you seen the most."
For me? Groundhog Day. Even if you've only seen it once, you've seen it a lot.
I've probably seen these movies at least 10 times each:
Shawshank Redemption The Blues Brothers My Cousin Vinny Groundhog Day Apollo 13 The Right Stuff Full Metal Jacket Back to the Future The Princess Bride The Hunt For Red October Galaxy Quest Caddyshack Seems Like Old Times Mrs. Doubtfire
Oh yeah, how could I forget "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" and "War Games"...
Also, "9 to 5" would have gotten a lot of viewings from me as well over the years...
Good topic!
Probably the Wizard of Oz. When I was a child in the sixties it played once a year on the television and I probably watched it five times. As an adult it would probably be Casablanca four times. That's my favorite movie.
Shawshank
Raiders of the Lost Ark Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade Ferris Bueller's Day Off Escape from New York Galaxy Quest Back to the Future Animal House Fright Night (the original with Roddy McDowall, none of the sequels or remakes)
Gonna see "Back to the Future" again next week for its 40th anniversary release. Hardly seems like it's been that long.
I forgot all about Ferris Bueller. Revenge of the Nerds is another one because I see that one every time I visit one of my friends (he thinks it's an alltime classic).
Mad Max Fury Road.
The OP's question is predicated on two criteria:
For me, that makes it a tie between Jaws and The Blues Brothers.
Animal House, Arthur, The Outlaw Josey Wales.
So many. No way to know. Could be almost any of the above, or Aliens The Commitments The Godfather 1 and 2 Lord of the Rings
Probably one of the Godfather, one of the original Star Wars trilogy, or Forrest Gump.
Forgot about "Revenge of the Nerds" and "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn."
I don't know which movie i've seen the most times but there are several that i've seen multiple times and will almost always watch again when they pop up on local tv.
