I've often wondered, if we offer constructive criticism about some of the negative things that often happen in clubs, are those comments EVER seen by people in a position to possibly help improve the situation? I'm not so much talking about any specific club, but rather the various policies and behaviors that tend to show up in many clubs, some of which can't possibly be great for generating new or repeat business...
Anyway, when we complain about some of these things that we encounter in clubs, are we mostly just bitching amongst ourselves, or is it reasonable to assume that some club owners and GM's might be lurking on here??? š

@shadowcat š do you happen to know if they're looking for ways to improve the club experience based on our comments about clubs in general?

There was one guy claiming to be an owner/manager here. I believe the guys name was omega something but not totally sure. His profile pic was orangish maybe a sunset with trees
Dude was a giant asshole. Absolutely hated ITC extras dancers and customers who tried pursuing them.
He also bragged about how he supposedly caught a dancer sucking off a guy inside a car in the parking lot and got them arrested for soliciting and sex offender charges since they were technically having sex in public
I think he also even bragged about how dancers if they wanted to could weasel out of the soliciting/sex offender charges by claiming they were raped or something
I noticed people who are on the other side of things, whether a supposed pimp, or club owner, have a different perspective and goals, and it causes issues in their dealings with PLs on forums

Many years ago, I interacted with a club owner of a club I went to on here. She was the female half of a married couple who owned a club. I answered a few questions she had. The one big thing I told her she should do was lower lap dance prices, because for the small town she was in, that will drive people away.

Iāve known a few club owners, for the most part theyāre a pretty solid group of business owners. The point most of you miss, is itās their money thatās been invested and theyāll generally be conservative about strategies. Most of the owners I know are making money, why would they listen to a bunch of mongers who for the most part have no idea of what it actually takes to run a business successfully.

In a review of a local club, I mentioned high mileage dancers turn off lights in VIP. Next visit they had installed light switch protectors to prevent that. Made me realize that some clubs definitely read reviews š
However this didn't prevent me from getting a bj with the lights on so we're all good I guess haha

If club owners or managers are on this site, Iām sure they couldnāt care less what PLs think would make for a better customer experience. Itās their business model, and their bottom line. And despite how important we think we are to the strip club industry, the PLs on this site make up a tiny (statistically irrelevant) fraction of strip club customers. So why should they care what we think?

I proceed on the assumption that they would be looking for information that named dancers are carrying on illegal activities, so I keep mum about that shit.

They come on here for a laugh or to try to dig dirt up on girls.

In clubs that take a cut of the dance cost, they get very direct feedback about who's a moneymaker for the club. Competent managers probably observer stage tipping, and figure the most rained-upon dancers are the biggest drivers of alcohol sales. Non-prima-donna managers listen to non-prima-donna dancers who are earners for the club (indirectly through the house mom if there is one). Info that a manager could get here is relatively unimportant by comparison.

The one guy i met on here, who at least claimed to be a club owner/manager, was extremely obsessive about firing any dancers who met clients outside or who did extras. To the point he wanted to get sex offender charges on them. I understand firing the dancers and banning the customers but going beyond that is crazy

Well, I'm certainly no Albert Hawking or Stephen Einstein, but I'll tell you guys a true story...
A while back I walked into a club for the first time, with a pretty serious chunk of change on me, and a willingness to spend every penny of it. The club was nice, and there were at LEAST four cute dancers that I'd have been happy to have dances with. It was practically a slam dunk...
That is until someone affiliated with the club made a really boneheaded decision. If there was a hall of fame for dog shit customer service, this one would have made it in on the first ballot. And no, I didn't do something to deserve that treatment. I'm always respectful, well-behaved, and I show up looking to spend money. Someone just decided they were entitled to be a huge douche to me without justification, so I left, and I'll never set foot in that club again.
So I went off to another club instead, also a first time visit, where my experience was very different. Doing absolutely NOTHING differently than I did in the first club, or any other club for that matter, everyone at the second club treated me with respect. I tipped the server generously that night, threw some dollars at the stage, and proceeded to spend way too much money on dances with a cute girl, as I often do when treated with the same kindness and respect that I always show to others. Oh yeah, I came back a few nights later and did it all again, and now that club is regular stop for me when I'm in that area...
Now, I'm not the brightest star to ever shine in the night sky, but are you seriously telling me that the owner(s) and/or manager(s) of that first club would not even be a tiny bit interested to know about what happened on my visit? I mean, I'd sure as hell want to know what happened if it were MY club. And if that customer service fiasco might have been avoided with nothing more than a five minute conversation with every new hire, does that impact your answer?

They aren't on here surveying guys who want bargain pussy

^Yeah the owners want as much money as possible for as little work as possible, kind of like a pimp, whereas the clients want as much service for as little money as possible.
If those two paths cross- a deal can be made.
This is pretty much the same in every industry. Every car maker would love to sell all their cars for a million each. Every buyer would love to get a car for a penny.
But its important to be realistic. Its not really reasonable to demand that $1000 for an hour of sex is the norm and that anyone who wants to pay less is cheap and greedy.
Nor is that type of comment something any business or club owner would make publicly
Its clear if you were selling used cars you would be on those forums complaining about how evil and cheap car buyers are

Guys, there are replies here that have absolutely nothing to do with the question I was trying to ask. This thread doesnāt have anything to do with dance prices, drink prices, cover charges, or anything about pricing at all. I donāt give a shit about extras, so thatās not relevant to this thread either. Iām trying to ask if club owners or managers might care about other things that happen, such as club staff being needlessly rude to customers, that might be causing them to lose business? My question was 1) do they sometimes hang out here, and 2) might they ever consider making even small changes based on some thoughtful feedback?
Having said all of that, after reading these replies, I guess I have an answer to my original question⦠ššš

They use google yelp or travelocity for that. Tuscl has a reputation for guys looking for cheap pussy

ā>āGuys, there are replies here that have absolutely nothing to do with the question I was trying to ask.ā
@ClubFan81077 Welcome to TUSCLš¤ You will get used to it eventually.
Iāve seen a couple of situations where managers were sensitive to google reviews, because of some scathing reviews that describe getting ripped off. So then there would be signs in the dressing room cracking down on dancer behavior.
There was a corporate Deja Vu account created on this site years ago and they briefly posted on the discussion board. Except what they posted got drowned by the many posts of San_Jose_Guy afterwards
Iāve never discussed TUSCL with a club manager though. There was a club manager who messaged me on this site way back in like 2018 or something advertising trying out a shift at his club, but thatās about it.
And I believe chunkychicano is referencing some individual with the handle Omega or something like that? That individual used to post on Reddit as well, but then went quiet. He was a manager at some club in Florida.
But otherwise, Iāve seen some club managers post on r/stripclubs on occasion. They like to post āask me anythingā threads on there. For whatever reason, they donāt seem as willing to do that on this site, ahaha.

TLDR. The owner/ manager of the Players Club posted on here for a bit when she was trying to save the club from going under. She was critical of guys chasing extras and trying to encourage customers to come in for a raunchy but clean experience. It didnāt work. Now the longer history while I enjoy a fond trip down memory laneā¦
The owner/manager of one of the best clubs in the country back in its heyday right here in Baltimore started posting incognito about the time the club began its slide to going out of business. In its glory days, itād be packed with three stages going, beautiful girls and a very active lap dance area (booths open to each other in a circle). No FS or BJs but it was very fun back in the early aughts to 2015 or so. On Friday and Saturday nights youād often get to see a fully nude girl on girl 69 show.
They eventually installed private rooms and while the extras then went crazy, they also became the focus of the club and management tried to stamp them out. They dance booth walls were shortened to limit privacy and while cameras were never installed; the VIP was more heavily policed.
Anyway, the club started sliding and in order to try and keep it open, management raised prices, which mightāve helped for a while, but it hurt the customers. Rinse and repeat and it just got too expensive and less girls were showing up. There was no reversing the slide and Covid eventually killed it and it closed for good.

I'm sure some lurk reviews. The fact is this board is not the main demographic for most clubs. Most of us aren't blowing 300 dollars on a Friday night with the boys stage tipping and on a few air dances.

I know a couple of managers who have accounts on here. Letās them have somewhat of an idea how their clubs are perceived but also keep tabs on their competition.

OP your post makes me wonder: how influential is TUSCL? Let's say I picked 100 US strip clubs at random, and then surveyed 100 patrons at each. What percentage would say that TUSCL played a role in their decision to patronize that club for the first time?
It bet that number is low, like single digits low, but that's a huge guess. For me personally, I wouldn't travel to any new area without first reading TUSCL reviews. But I think your average PL isn't putting much thought into the decision to hit a club, and is going by Google and advertisements or just the fact that they saw that club on the way from the airport.

If I managed or owned a club, Iād probably not post anything on here, Iām sure some do keep tabs on TUSCL, in a low profile way.
It would be counterproductive to engage in these boards as a principle in a club

@nicespice wrote "Welcome to TUSCL..." Well it's about time the welcoming committee showed up!!! š Seriously, though, some good comments, so thank you!
@Hank Moody It's sad when a once vibrant club is either a shadow of its former self, or no longer even exists at all...
@JamesSD It might be virtually impossible for any club to appeal to every possible customer. If you make a decision that makes some customers happy, another group of customers might then become unhappy. Having said that, sometimes there are simple customer service missteps that can have the effect of pissing off just about everyone, and some of those blunders might be fixable with relatively little effort or cost...
@NCParrothead š Makes sense to me!
@RonJax2 I hear ya... As I mentioned above, when I created this topic I was primarily thinking about some of those silly customer service blunders that could have the effect of annoying virtually all of a club's customers...
@twentyfive Sure, if they do visit this site, it wouldn't surprise me at all that it would be in a low profile way. I'm certainly not suggesting that a club owner should show up here and say "Hey everyone, this is John Smith, owner of The Crusty Crotch. How should I run my club?" :)

To Ron's point, I'm a regular participant around here and it's safe to say TUSCL has done little to influence my spending at clubs. It may have directed me to a few clubs when traveling, but that's a small fraction of my spending and honestly I usually end up trying the other clubs in the area too and really all TUSCL influences is which I try first.
That said, it does seem like a good manager would do well to keep an eye on reviews and stuff here. Likely they don't care about 95% of our gripes, but at least hearing the feedback would be good. Even if they disregard it.

The things I find important in a review on this site are the date and time of visit, the number of dancers on the shift and the general vibe. Beyond that no one's experience applies elsewhere. A perfect example: I went to a club in CT. because it was near the airport where I was picking up people. The cost, the layout, the number dancers and the vibe were all helpful and accurate in making my choice. This was in spite of low-level contact claims in all the reviews. My contact experience was fantastic, and every single review was incorrect, but maybe not for the poster.

I think how much TUSCL influences your patronage depends on how much you travel. There are road warriors here (I'm one of 'em) who find it essential when traveling to a new area.
@Dolfan if memory serves you're a SoFla guy and if you're not traveling often, I could understand reviews not having an impact -- you have first hand info which is better than anyone else's reviews.
Unrelated, one thing I'm learning from this thread is that managers are definitely lurking here, and that should give us all pause on adjudicating reviews that name dancers and connect them to extras.

@Dolfan i dont know if thats necessarily the norm. If reviews do so little to influence your spending and club selection, why bother reading any at all.
Rons original post was pointing out the fact most PLs dont use tuscl and due to that, the reviews have little influence on them

Some good comments here in these last few posts...
Personally, TUSCL reviews have the potential to greatly influence the clubs that I visit, although definitely more so while traveling to areas that I'm less familiar with. For example, if I can determine through reviews that a club will insist on scanning my ID, I won't even give it a chance. If I'm dressed in my usual way for comfort, and their dress code is likely to be an issue, I'm probably not wasting my time. If it's a club I might otherwise like, but either valet parking is mandatory, or the parking situation is difficult...nope, I'm not doing that either. So reviews can be great at alerting me to situations where it might be a complete waste of my time to even attempt a visit!
To skibum's point, though, I agree that not everything about someone else's experience is always going to be relevant to me. I've also had great dances when someone else didn't. I've loved the selection of girls at a club when someone else didn't. And yep, hearing about the vibe of a club can be very helpful, although even something like that is sometimes open to interpretation... :)

I think Ron's point about travel being a factor is valid, and you're right I'm not a road warrior these days. I do still travel, but I my habits have changed. When I go to an area, I'll end up making a number of visits to that area over a couple of months. What TUSCL influences tends to be the order in which I check out clubs in an area moreso than if I check them out at all. I might check out the one I think is best based on reviews on my first trip, but by the 2nd/3rd time I'm in town I've hit any of them that are conveniently located to where I'm at.
I do avoid clubs that scan ID's and avoid sketchy parking and valet when I have company property in a rental though. So, in that way it does influence my spending.
I do agree that my travel habits are likely not typical, but I'm not sure what percentage of TUSCL participants are heavy traveling clubbers. My point wasn't to claim that no ones spending is influenced by reviews, just that in addition to the fact that a minority of customers use TUSCL at all; the not all of the spending habits of those that do are greatly influenced by the site. I really don't have any insight into the behavior of others.
I know you wouldn't really be able to tell that I travel by looking at my reviews, as I tend not to review clubs when I travel. I feel like my perspective is heavily skewed based on my home area and my experience is in the clubs is limited, so I don't bother.

@Dolfan Good comments. I also don't always write a review for every club I visit. Sometimes I just don't get a review done in a timely enough fashion, or I spent too little time in a club to really get a feel for it, or maybe there are already 50 bazillion reviews on the place, so who needs my +1 opinion anyway? :)

@clubFan81077 New eyes look at the world differently. The things you might notice about a new club are things that regulars may take for granted and never report. The attractiveness of the wait/bar staff. An odd convention about tipping. a skew towards a certain type of talent.
And, as a non-regular, you have presumably your experience relative to other areas of the country, which is valuable.
Me, I appreciate reviews from non-regs assuming they are well written and detail oriented.

@RonJax2 š I can't argue with that!

If your review of a club would be mostly the same as the most recent review of a club, you can write a comment in the club forum, with additional info. If you have no additional info, but the last review is 4+ months old, a comment noting that you saw nothing different is helpful.
