I just noticed that if I type @USERNAME in a comment, once posted that username shows up as a hyperlink to the user's profile.
For example (just to pick on two regulars here), if I type @PAFBABS or @ilbbaicnl, you can browse directly to their profiles from this post.
What I'm curious of is: does tagging a user name send a notification to that user too? Paf and Ilb, did you all get notifications from this post?
Truth is speaking for myself, I appreciate @founders efforts to improve his site. That said I’d prefer not having to figure out how to use this platform over and again every few months.
I did not get an alert that my name had been used. Clicking on my name led to my page with my contributions going back to 2006.

It does not seem like this feature is wired up to send alerts yet.

That would be an awesome feature, that way if someone references a comment I made I don't miss it, or have to scroll through old threads to see if someone responded.
