Why Spam?

I have to mute about 4 new spammers every day. It was bad enough when they started discussion posts, but now they're commenting too. On one of @Muddy's recent State of Strip Clubs post, 3 out of 4 comments were spammers.

There's a simple answer. There's spam because there's no moderation here. Same reason we have trolls.

My mute list is getting unmanageable. Need a way to delete them.

Solving this problem is simple, founder needs to appoint a few moderators

No, I don't think Papi Chulo hired the Bangalore movers and is now a resident of India or that Icey paid to have his homework written for him. But some dumbasses are obviously buying this shit. Founder tried to help us avoid the spam posts by putting in a verified members section or VIP members section. No one used it. Everyone used the front room because they enjoyed fighting and bickering with icee loco, sjg, and 25 - still the most ignored loser on the site. The only way to minimize the spam posts would be to limit all discussion to VIP members, which I would be fine with.

Correction for both losers Gammanu and icee, the only reason I’m on the list is because you idiots actually made a handful of straw handles for the sole purpose of putting me on ignore, you both make me laugh, you two never fail to mention me, proof that I own you both, and inhabit the vacant space between your ears. LOL What faggity little douche boys.

25 posted simply to attack me, and contributed nothing to the conversation. Proof that he is a troll and my little prison bitch, nothing more. He is also in denial about how widely he is hated.

The only straw handles I am seeing are the spam posts. If only VIP members were allowed to post, that would eliminate the problem. At the very least, only VIPs should be allowed to start threads.

Icey had several alt troll accounts but i dont know if he went through logging into all of them to block people. He also likes blocking and unblocking constantly because he wants to be able to read what the blocked people are saying lol. He blocks/unblocks me 10 times a day.

There was a day where the ignore count for 25 and a bunch of other users suddenly jumped by 12 or 13 ignores. Anybody that gammanu had an issue or argument with suddenly had their ignore count inflated by 12+ users. Guys like skibum or rickdugan werent affected by those ignores at all…

What is a one troll show? Youve repeated that same comment 5+ times within the last couple hours, across different threads lol

Getting rid of you would serve humanity. You're a net loss. You detract and add nothing of value.

Adding nothing of value is one of the defining characteristics of a troll. I'd like to hear a better suggestion than barring non-VIPs from participating in discussions. Not only would that weed out the people who only log on to troll the discussion boards, but it could increase the quality of reviews if people have to write better reviews for their limited VIP access.

Alternatively, Founder could make more money by requiring non-VIPs to sit through complete 4-5 minute commercial breaks before writing and again before submitting a discussion topic or comment. No muting, either, the weird sex game or creepy AI girlfriend ad has to play through your speakers.

Maybe less than 20% are arguing and the last couple months thats probably been only with icey. Anyway the posts ive seen of yours are always political arguments, calling out 25 or dustyj. Im used to agreeing to disagree on the political topics because whether online or offline, i dont agree on many things
