How "wild and crazy" is your playlist?

Striving for mediocrity in everything that I do.

Reading through another thread got me thinking--are my musical tastes really all THAT varied compared to others? I mean, I can enjoy just about any kind of music that speaks to me in some way. Sometimes it's the skill of a particular musician just making an instrument do amazing things, sometimes it's the lyrics that draw me in, sometimes a song is just catchy AF, and maybe even sometimes it's all of those things at once!

Anyway, if you have a "playlist" of some sort, what are 5 to 10 songs that you love from that playlist that you'd say are about as "different" from each other as they could possibly be?

Here are 10 songs that I happen to LOVE from MY driving playlist that I think represent some serious VARIETY:

Mainstreet - Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band (seems appropriate for this forum!) Anyone else out there have some really varied playlists that have a little bit of everything??? :)

No but I do have an 8-record set of Beethoven's Fifth from the 1930s.

The most varied selections from my favorite playlist:

If I were to pivot to my classical music playlist, it would be mostly Beethoven, Grieg, Vivaldi, Bach, and Chopin.

If Skifredo really does have a phonograph that is honestly the only cool thing about him.

As for this lion, I go for classics like the Tokens best work. And Hakuna Matata but that’s because it is performed by the world’s most badass meerkat and warthong. And, of course, anything by Princess Tay Tay. ROAR!!!

Also, does Skifredo play Grand Funk Railroad on his phonograph. That would increase the cool factor if he refrains from jackin’ it while listening.

But I’m sure he’s all “wah wah wah my butthole hurts because I started to play Grand Funk and then a mean librul made me put a big ass dildo up there without any lube wah wah wah”

^^^ Gammanu, a while back I asked an AA dancer if she'd play Black Betty said she'd never heard it so we played it on my phone. She was shocked to see a bunch of white rednecks in the backyard ended up laughing your ass off and loved it played it twice on stage while I was there.

@gamma 👍👍 It's been a minute since I've heard "Black Betty"! I need to search for and listen to some of those songs, as some are unknown to me. No matter how much music I think I listen to, there's still plenty of tunes left for me to discover...
