REFS sat their fat asses on the flags, while the coaches at UW decided to fuck hookers rather than call a game in Houston; while the michigan coaches stole signals signs from the opposing team and the NCAA shoved millions of dollars up their assholes.. but it was a fair match
As a Buckeye fan I hate that team up north, but they clearly deserved to win that game. Just watching how dominant their run game was in the first quarter showed that they were a better team than UW on that particular day. Congrats to them on playing a great game and good luck to whoever their coach is next year after Big Jim rides that championship to an NFL gig.
I do wonder what effect the game will have on Penix's draft stock. He looked like an elite QB all season and put up great numbers, but in a big pressure game he had his worst game of the season going 27 for 51 with 2 interceptions and a QB rating below 100. He seemed to miss some wide open passes that you wouldn't expect an elite NFL ready QB to miss.
He was throwing off his back foot all game. I wonder if he was unable to put pressure on his front foot after he turned his ankle on the first or second drive? Against Texas he looked NFL ready, but against Michigan his accuracy just fell apart.
Yeah I thought Penix should have sat down towards the end. He clearly looked banged up and he can use it as an excuse later, if needed. The game was sort of competitive, but even by a generous viewer, it was clear by start of second half that UW had answer for the run game.
I'm glad Michigan got a victory, and I don't even mean U of M because I've never been a big fan of them (my mom went to MSU) I just mean the state in general. So I was rooting for them.
It feels especially nice now that I live in the Buckeye state and strangers will just talk shit to me about being from Michigan because they hate U of M so much when I really have never cared about their stupid rivalry. But now that I have to constantly hear about it, I'm obviously team Michigan.
^But adding to that, I felt bad for Penix because he was just completely beat up by the end of the game. It was hard to watch him go back to locker room. He looked like he was literally trying to hold his body together.

Seriously, even with Harbaugh sidelined for six games, they still managed to go 15-0. That's a great team!

I thought the game was far more competitive than the final score indicated.
Michigan's DL was very impressive.
