Don't trust the policia? Hell I don't even trust the taxis or uber drivers. Set-ups do happen and the cop will rob you. All it takes is one and you'll understand.

Don't be out on the street late. and maybe stay just on the block in Zona Norte. and do a damn good job of hiding your money if you're carrying it with you.

My amigo and I were walking to Zona Norte from the club/ hotel that we stayed at the previous night. we stopped at the Tijuana tequila expo and left there when they closed at 10:00 pm .

we should have improved our odds by taking a taxi instead of walking. but I've never been bothered by the tj policia in over 9 years.

I was in Chicago club Tuesday night (and very briefly in HK). Might have seen you guys. Hope you had a good time.

The things to remember while clubbing in TJ.

1. Most important watch your back at all times. Don't bring any weapons pocket knife, guns, pepper spray.
2. Keep someone money hidden for the cab ride back to the border.
3. Don't do any thing stupid that will land you in jail.

After your are back in the U.S go and get tested for any and all std's.
