So i'm trying to indulge myself a bit more after working hard for so long but i always find it troublesome to between drinks and such to get even small $20s exchanged for dollar bills. And now I'm thinking of doing $1 to perhaps up to $5K (If I'm bold enough) extravagances. Obviously that's not an every day thing, but I'm concerned of the implications of what the bank might say and I'm concerned how problematic it would be if i ask staff for $1K in dollars. I have no particular club in mind. Any advice on this?
Your bank won't even ask. They value your privacy. But they might not have that readily available and you might have to give them advance notice. I got Pesos from dollars at my bank once but I had to order in advance.
E-dor- I'm getting the impression you're one of those make it rain types. If so, could you please explain to me wtf is so appealing about throwing a bunch of $ away in singles with no apparent payback/gratification. Does it increase your chances of getting OTC, or sex in the champagne room (assuming you have $ left over for that) ? Or do you get a chubby by being the guy who throws the most singles on stage ?
If you're prepared to drop 5,000 on stage tips, maybe consider getting a big stack of $5's. A typical bundle of bills from your bank will have 100 in each strap. It doesn't seem practical to have 50 strapped bundles of 1's in front of you. Plus you'll attract more attention from the dancers by handing out 5's, if that's your intent.
Well I love to rain on your parade so I will. @minnow I'm not one of those "make it rain" types so I can't answer your question. I just know $500 for 1 VIP is what I paid before and I'm going to want more than 1 VIP session with multiple women so $1K might not even be enough for drinks and front room dances in-between. Plus tips
^^ No parade on my end. Excuse me if I had mistaken impression that you were looking for $1K - $5K in singles. For $500 plus VIP sessions, I'd get a bunch of Benjamins for that.
When I'm going on a trip where I plan to spend a lot of time at various clubs, I usually plan ahead and make several trips to the ATM to get a good base of cash to bring with me. If I need more in the middle of the trip, I just go back to the ATM or inside if I need more than I can get on one day at the ATM.
Are you planning on bringing the money into the club in some type of briefcase or bag? I don't see how you would reasonably carry $1k in singles in your pockets. Like minnow said, if you are using the money for vip just get larger bills. Your dancer will be much happier with 5 $100 bills than 500 $1 bills. Don't get me wrong, she'll take the cash either way but if you pay for vip in all singles it may effect her mood and the quality of her performance.
I don't know if I want to give various tips in $100 bills though either. Not every woman I meet is immediately going to VIP either. Not is every drink $100
The Bank of America ATMs in my area let you choose denominations in 10s 20s and hundreds. The M&T ATMs don’t let you choose but pay out in 50s 20s and 5s. On occasion, it’s worth it to me to pay the $3.50 ATM charge to carry the bills I want.
The bank won't care unless you're acting furtive/nervous, or the teller is super new. In the unlikely event they do ask, a simple answer like "I'd just like to have some cash on hand in these denominations" should more than suffice. As others said, they don't give a shit but they are regulated and should be trained to spot scammers/coercion/etc. You don't want to act all nervous and make them think there's someone outside holding your loved ones hostage.
Around here, most of the clubs wouldn't be flustered by a request for 1k in singles, the waitress would likely tip off her preferred strippers of the request, but that's it. Some clubs might struggle with a single 5k request, as in they might have to have someone unlock a safe or something. A lot of clubs here have 100 bundles, so asking for singles back from a $50/100 on a $10-15 drink will annoy them because they have to count it out, do it several times in a night and I'm sure they'll get aggravated. But buying a $15 drink with a $20 & tacking on a request for $100-200 in singles is often something they can service out of their drawer without any real effort. I'd think unless you're trying to sit there with $1000's in singles sitting at your table, that approach would work. Get 4k in 100's & 1k in 20's from the bank. Go to the club and order a drink & $200 in singles at a time. If you wanna do dances or a room, you should have decent sized bills for that. If you want to throw singles, hopefully $200 in the period it takes you to have a drink is slow enough.
I find that having $100 in singles for tips works for me. when that runs out it's no problem getting another $100 in singles. I pay for dances with larger bills such as Jacksons, grants and bens.
@Whodey "Are you planning on bringing the money into the club in some type of briefcase or bag? I don't see how you would reasonably carry $1k in singles in your pockets."
I'm not sure to be honest. I'd hate to be that guy that's walking around with a big Old Bag of Money. That's just the setup for robbery right there. But I do understand that there's no way I'm fitting $5,000 in my pockets. If I was a carry all in one hundred dollar bills, maybe. But tgen I'd constantly have to ask for change if I want to tip on stage or tip a lap dance. And sometimes as the night wears on they bartenders get too busy to service even my tall ass in time. And you never know the patience level. Because I do plan to do a combination of the lap dances, stage tipping (not raining), maybe a drink here or two and a few VIP sessions

9 times outta ten I’m taking those ones straight to the dressing room and exchanging them out for bigger bills I hate going home with a ton of 1s lol
