Ever get dancer-envy while getting a private dance?

My ATF and I went into one of those communal dance rooms once and there were 2 other couples already in there. one couple down from us and the other across from us. The guy across from us kept watching us which made my dancer uneasy. They finished their dance and the dancer got dressed and left the room. The guy stayed and just watched us. We didn't like that and stopped. She started putting her clothes back on and the guy got up and walked down to where the other couple was. He started watching them and then pulled out his cock and started jacking off. My ATF ran for the bouncer who then escorted him out of the club.

The club I used to frequent the most as a rookie PL had a communal lap dance room, just a long padded bench in a U around the room. Many a time I'd keep an eye out for how other dancers were performing, particularly when my dancers was doing RCG. I loved that set up - not only could you get a feel for who gave good dances but seeing a bunch of attractive women doing their thing was a turn on.

The Candy Store ( now Venom ) in Tucson was like that around 2000-2005. Big open VIP where anything goes. Dancers would talk with each other while they “danced”. Waitress would serve drinks no matter what was going on. Good times.

It happened a lot when I was a newbie because every club had a communal private dance room. Even if my girl was doing a great job, I'd still check out the other ones. Hell, most of the girls are checking out the other girls, too.

I've had the exact opposite experience when my ATF is doing her thing with me and the dude across is getting a boring dance from a girl I know is low mileage.

Dancer envy hasn't happened to me in a long time, mainly because I haven't done much communal dance rooms lately. I recall one Vegas club in the 90's where dances were done tableside on main floor. I was walking back from the bar to my table where this dancer just had a way with dancing just so (no hanky - panky). I looked just long enough for the dancer to notice my appreciative look. When she was finished after a few songs, she came over to my table. Over the next 2 yrs., I bought many dances from her, both there and in another city she traveled to LV from.

Conversely, I've caught glimpses of other dancers in opposite/diagonal cubicles that I should avoid like the plague. ( Too mechanical, not getting nude, no/low contact, or acting bitchy towards customer. I overheard one dancer in adjacent non-visible space say "don't fucking touch me." Needless to say, I crossed her off my list.)
