If he wasn't happy about her stripping he may be really unhappy when he finds out what she's going to do now that she has to make enough to cover her car payments on top of whatever else she has been paying for with the money she earns stripping.
I'm sure that more than a few of us on here have helped a 22 year old stripper earn extra money to help pay their car note. I'm equally sure that this father would be mortified if he found out how they earned that extra money.

The coworker that snitched is an instigator & is clearly the real issue here. The daughter is working a well paying, legal, legitimate JOB while also going to school-nothing wrong with that.
funonthaside I imagine there are a lot of parents still paying their 22 year old's car payment while they are in college. It isn't something my parents could've afforded, but it isn't uncommon. A lot of parents agree to pay the bills for their kids while they are in college.
Hypothetically: Sure it's common. But as an adult child in college, should you expect it or think you are entitled to it? I'd say no
In this case: I re-read the article and it only said the daughter was upset and I didn't necessarily see anything that suggests she felt entitled. So my bad there. da fuck? you're absolutely right. it's 2023. so this means to you that the father is at fault for acknowledging his natural born instinct of being an actual caring parent? also at fault for being harsh with his reactions to teach some discipline and help the daughter perhaps develop a better sense of accountability, which will help her in life in the long run? it's no wonder a lot of modern western girls fucking suck.

You shake your head that the parents still support a 22 year old? I know a guy still providing housing and cars for his two late 20's daughters that probably combined make more than he does. They spend all their money on lavish partying and clothes. Save nothing. They have no incentive grow up.
Finally read the article. I found it surprising that she claimed she doesn't make enough from dancing to pay car payment. Even at $1,000/month (which is high for a car that a college student should be driving), it seems she could make that from one shift per week. I imagine she has other expenses/interests, as well, but why strip if you're not able to make $1-$2k/month?
