Is this true, or just a strip club owner fear mongering? can you be charged as a sex offender for doing anything nude or sexual in a public place like in a car, due to public nudity laws? Or is it a blanket punishment for getting lapdances in general, are they illegal if performed outside a club venue?
Normally solicitation/prostitution is just a misdemeanor charge. If you can be charged as a rapist or sex offender, for engaging with escorts, or doing OTC, that is entirely different and a much bigger risk.
Even if you are getting the OTC or extras in a club parking lot, wouldn’t the most you could get would be solicitation + being banned from the property? Or does the logic go that parking lots are considered public places, so doing anything sexual in a car means you can be charged with being a sex offender, even if the car windows are tinted?

Assume no payment is involved, are sex/lapdances illegal inside a car or inside a mall fitting room?

Sex in public is almost always illegal. I've had strippers tell me they can't even sit in a car talking to a customer in a strip club parking lot because it looks like they could be doing something sexual. Strip club owners are cautious because they don't want their club shut down by the local authorities. There is no good reason to have sex in public because there are plenty of private places to do that.

Basically lapdance or sex without payment , in a parking lot or mall fitting room gets you criminal charges far beyond prostitution? Prostitution/solicitation are just misdemeanors but the sex offender type charges can probably end your career, ruin your life etc

Whether someone could be charged with coercion is an interesting question. A stripper could say a customer dragged her into his car and forced her to do something sexual, but would she be automatically believed? It would be dangerous to automatically believe whatever a female says while never believing what a guy says. Females do make false accusations sometimes. One time at work I complained about having to do the work of a girl in the office because she wasn't doing it. She retaliated by accusing me of harassment. It was dropped because there was no evidence of it, and I had no history of doing anything like that. Men have to be cautious in an office setting. The fact that I was always polite to women and had no history of unwanted sexual advances helped me when I got accused of something.

Basically if you think someone’s having sex in a parking lot or public area, they can get all those indecent exposure and sex offender charges even if they cant be seen?
