In NYC a lot of underground parties were going on. If you was in the loop as a dancer you could find a party somewhere at least 4 nights a week

I already had regulars. Same price and I bartended at underground parties

My customers would rent out the event space for $50 and we would listen to music, drink and dance. If they had friends I would book another dancer. The customers loved that exclusivity. I had the time of my life during lock down. Customers took me on trips and everything

@B I'm surprised you can rent an event space in NYC for $50, except maybe for the scarier parts.

I started doing OTC with one dancer because of the COVID shutdowns. But we don't do extras OTC, as we didn't ITC. It wasn't about her being desperate, I was already an established regular, and I'd never been pushy or badgering with her. The other dancer I do weekly OTC with, we started way before COVID, and also it was about her feeling confidant I was safe without a bouncer around.

To clarify. During the lockdown it was illegal to open event spaces. My friend owned the space.

So no you wouldn’t be able to afford the space but I would. It’s called having friends. It was also a private 1 on 1. But I also brought people out to his parties so it was a wash ya hand u wash my thing.
