is it worth wearing flashy shoes or watches

In one of Dugans threads he mentioned wearing a nice suit to the clubs. Is it worth wearing a flashy watch or sneakers to the club? You can get rolex knockoffs made by other companies for like $80. But otherwise, there are some pretty nice diamond encrusted watches available for $800+. The diamond ones look much flashier than the real or knockoff rolexes.

I don't see the point. I'm the customer, I have the cash, they're there to serve me.

I don't dress like a hobo, but why would I need to impress them?

Look in the mirror and ask your other *icey* account dougie.
I think your answer to yourself would be latest basketball shoes and sneakers, and big fake gold chains around your neck will pull in all the hoes within sight.

I dress for comfort and for access. You don't want to look like a hobo. But you also don't want to look like a Mark. If you flash too much, they will think you are loaded and are ready to spend. I have heard girls say your smell is more important than how you look. Take a shower before you go.

BTE younger girls in general wear cheap stuff with designer accessories now a days. And something fashionable irregardless of the brand gets their attention. It's how it all looks on a person.

One thing I've learned from lifting weights is that women are very shallow. Maybe Moreso than men.

I want to share clubbing stories on here but they'd just get trolled.

But I wear proclub and fila to clubs and still seduce stripper hoes lulz.

I used to wear chains and watches and expensive Jordan's. It attracted girls. But the worst the economy got and crime went up it didn't feel right. And attracting someone without that shit is more of an ego trip

Although this thread is somewhat zebra infested, this rick shall share the true rick perspective - the rickspective if you will - on this issue.

The suit isn’t to impress. As a rick, the suit is part of you. Kind of like your liver or spleen. You wouldn’t go to the club all spleenless, would you? Well, I suppose you might if you were surgically altered or something but we ricks are so healthy that surgery shit is irrelevant. Alcohol is a preservative after all.

Anyhoo, I usually show up at the club wearing a stylin’ suit, an actual Rolex, and some nice Ferragamo loafers. Sends a signal of rickishness. If you want to keep a buzz going you should also soak some tampons in whiskey and shove one up your ass. That shit allows you to live in a rickish way.

Can any of you normies pull this shit off? I doubt it. We ricks are made of strong stuff. My rickvice is to try the cloths sans whiskey-soaked tampon in the ass. See whether you can handle the look of rickishness before you go full on rick. ROAR!!!

All my favs have ever said to me is, don't be dirty and stinky, and if you splooge in you pants, make sure you wearing what you need to to prevent soak-through.

My own guess would be, a full suit is seen as indicating the PL is there on his company's dime. That might attract the dancers who are looking for a good tip with low effort.

I'd also guess that a jeweled watch or other jewelry says probably pimp, corner boy or wannabe. That's not generally a big draw, but with dancers who grew up in rough neighborhoods, it might make you seem more approachable. With many of those dancers, it's bittersweet, they will think you are Prince Charming if you are just polite and considerate like a decent person naturally is. But. growing up in a rough neighborhood tends to make people hopeless and neurotic rather than goal-oriented. It's hard to be good at any job if you're not goal-oriented.

I'd guess the best strategy would be high-quality name-brand leisurewear. (I can't say with brands because I'm too cheap ass to spend on clothes.) That would say good professional job or higher level slinger. It might be important in a busy club, where the popular dancers literally don't have time to scope out all prospects. But, in my experience, the best dancers will scope out anyone who isn't clearly dirty or smelly if they can. If she works hard to get the dances, she works hard to give good dances. She will give you the best dance she can (within the limits or her personal tolerance for groping and/or rando drool).

A good watch isn’t usually all blinged out, only entertainers and show offs wear shit like that, my favorite watch is rather a plain looking Blume & Mercier with a black leather strap an the money is all in the complications rather than the glittery shit.
Same goes for shoes, my better dress shoes are kind of simple loafer design the quality is in the leather and the stitching.

Iced out watched lose value as watches. Their value comes as pieces of jewelry. Rolex won't even repair altered watches and doesn't consider them rolexes anymore. Real iced out watches are custom made and cost at least tens of thousands. What you see young guys wearing are fakes.

Dancers are good with spotting brand logos and hallmarks on jewelry. The weight it should have. Guys like that look like clowns to them. They joke a lot about that type.

An expensive watch or clothes will get initial attention. But some girls think guys like that don't have money coz of it.

Strippers aren't greedy. They're working and just trying to make money. So what gets their attention is cash and good hygiene. Smell nice be clean and have money. Dress fashionably but it doesn't have to be expensive.

If they like you. Your looks will get their attention not what you have on.

I've worn t shirts with marijuana stuff on them or vintage rapper t-shirts and got more and better attention than with a chain or watch.

When I used to wear chains girls would hold them to see the weight. Look for hallmarks. And would be impressed by them being real lol but it wasn't anything gaudy. Just a nice rope chain or Cuban link.

With shoes. Lots of girls look at your shoes. But to them a pair of vans is as cool as a pair of Jordan's. And they look at designer sneakers coz they want a pair for themselves

BTE, wearing a suit in a strip club I have seen gets you preferential OTC offers and DFKing. And others have written about this too.

The women only know what they see. They want to see you as well employed, and lots of the guys in strip clubs and bars are not.

But when Dugan wrote about this he was just dressing that way because his work had required it.

Wearing a suit to a strip club is awkward. It makes a guy look like a mark. A sports coat is okay in a more upscale club. But the suit thing just makes a guy look like an awkward trick. Especially in dives.
  • san_jose_guy
When Dugan was wearing a suit, it was what he had worn to work, which was where he was coming from.

    And the same for me.

The women respond to it and approach at your table and stage side. This is especially true beyond 10pm when they don't yet have a date. They can pour all their attention on to you, ignoring other guy's tipping.

SJG what kind of work do you do now? It looks like your prior military expertise has paid off, for you to be wearing suits daily!

Icee it depends on the amount. Like theres a bunch of invicta shaq watches with 1-2 karats diamonds. Costing around $800 to $1500... i dont think the diamonds would be fake? From a large company like that

Invicta watches are kind of a scam. They copy designs from much more expensive brands. Then price them at around 1k but sell them for like $150. So people think they're buying better quality than they are.

But some of their older watches. Like vintage pilot watches from the 2010s are really good quality and unique.

Also. If you buy any designer watches like gucci or whatever. They're all made in Fossils factories and have Fossil parts. You pau for yhe designer label that's it

Icee i mean theres some invicta watches the retail price is $3000. They sell for like $1000. It has 1.2 karats diamonds. I think the value of the diamonds would help retain that value on it?
Have you seen the invicta bolt and gladiators? Which brands are they copying the designs from. I haven’t seen those designs elsewhere
  • Icee Loco (asshole)
If the diamonds were set by Invicta then it has the value if a watch. If it was done after market then it's only value is as a piece of jewelry. Then that comes down to the quality of the watch material the diamond settings the diamonds.

The models you mentioned are original but gaudy.

If you go with invicta the aviator watches are the best quality cheap watches.

If you're spending 2k on a watch. You can get something nicer.
  • rickmacrodong
Which watches do you like for 2k? That also have a good design
Whats the value of 3 carats of diamonds? Invictta has a 2k watch, has 3 carats diamonds on it
  • Icee Loco (asshole)
With diamonds it depends on the quality of it and the size. The tiny diamonds used to ice out watches can cost between $5 to $10 piece.

A 2k watch with 3 carats is a good price.

I don't know what watch I'd get in that price range. Most luxury watches don't look that impressive now a days.

If you want a watch that will get you noticed snd that will be a conversation piece with girls. They tend to like whatever looks cool or unique. Price isn't much of a factor unless she's gold digging

BTE, we have talked a lot about male fashion on this board, and I have to say that there are differing views.

    https://tuscl.net/discussion.php?id=6529…

If you ask me, you do not want to look like a pimp, drug dealer, NBA player, or a gangster rap artist, not unless you really are one. YOu have to be rich and famous to get away with dressing the ways those guys do.

Best is to look employed and employable. And this gets back to Rick Dugan and The System(tm)

These are the kind of guy the stripper start throwing themselves at when it gets beyond 10pm if they don't already have a date.

You do not want Bling. Women are not impressed by that.
