Just making a thread for some shit I just figured out after seeing some other folks do it on here. I'm complete moron when it comes to this computer stuff but let me pass the knowledge around. I wish I would've known this before there's so much shit I've written where it I wanted to use it, I didn't think it was possible. For dummies like me...
I'll do these vertically so it doesn't disappear but you would write in normal like, horizontally.
You can also practice all of this stuff on your profile page, which means you don't have to create a new comment for each failed or successful experiment.
I brought this up last year https://tuscl.net/discussion.p… and was accused of trolling. I just presumed Founder wanted to maintain a very vanilla discussion board because no one was utilizing html coding. Now that the door has been kicked open, I just can't wait to see the accompanying images when SJG waxes poetic about lug nuts.
What did you do today at work honey? Today I learned how to post nudie pictures to the strip club forum that I get into fights over all day. Oh and I can print in bold too! Now I can post photos of goats so I can get under SJGs skin, and photos of onions rings to remind Icee he’s at work!
I tried to embed an image by uploading to tuscl and then using that as the link. I guess that won’t work? I used to use photobucket back in the day, but since it went pay I ditched it. If we can’t embed images uploaded to tuscl, what are the popular img hosting sites the kids are using these days? Imgur?
Honestly Jimmy I haven’t been using any of that stuff. I just go to google images, tap the image I want (I have an iPhone don’t know if that changes anything on your end) and copy should come up. I just copy and paste that link I get.
That will work sometimes. Note that the images you see on Google Image are not hosted there. They are only indexed there as part of a search.
Some websites protect their images and so the link you copy will not work on another site like TUSCL.
Other sites will track when images they host are loading on remote websites (because that costs them more money in bandwidth charges). That could lead to that site blocking TUSCL, or if it happens repeatedly then founder could get a cease-and-desist letter for content piracy.
So, on the rare occasion that I do this, I'll use Imgur.

last commentThe question is whether or not a select few will go through the hassle to the detriment of everyone else.
Enjoy the little things in life - they add up!
