Freedom Convoy - Canadian Truckers Protest

Since the weekend, the protest (against vaccine mandates) has shut down their capital and a border crossing. Coincidentally their Prime Minister caught COVID and either went in to hiding or quarantine. Some media and politicians have called the truck protesters racists, fascists, and authoritarians

    No stupid Iceefag U/I costs are 100% paid by the employer, the cost is based on the employee wage amount, but the amount is plus whatever that employee earns not one red cent is deducted from wages. P. S. Your tax refund is subsidized by your employer, your refund consists of not just what you’ve paid in tax but partially by the employer match amount as well( ie: child tax credits) that too is a giveaway to leeches like you.

    @SJG I paid my employees generally above average and way above scale, that was never an issue in my business, most of my employees owned their own homes, cars and some owned boats every one had paid vacation health insurance and 11 paid holidays a year, so that’s really an unfair characterization of the relationship I had and still have with many of my employees.

    I’m generally not-in-favor of the law been broken (w.r.t. the truckers stopping traffic; etc) – but I have a bigger issue w/ the double-standard where leftist rioters are often coddled by the left although they do way-worse such as: + attacking civilians + attacking police officers + destroying both public and private property (police stations; courthouses; private-businesses; etc) Over the past 2-years we’ve continuously had two systems of justice; one where they go as easy-as-possible on often violent leftwing rioters, and a different one for those not on the left – recently a black-dude was sentenced for burning down a business; there was someone inside the business that was killed b/c of his actions – he was charged w/ murder but the leftist politicians came out to defend him and demanded a lower-sentence “because he was protesting for social justice”; and he got a reduced sentence – leftist violent rioters are coddled and the current powers-to-be go after law-abiding citizens w/ everything they have for way less non-violent acts.
