In the 70's we had skin tight pants with huge bell bottom flares at the bottom.
In the 80's we had baggie crotch pants with tight fit around the ankles.
So they've taken the worse trends from the 70's and 80's and combined them. If they can find some left over Zubaz material from the 90's, they could have 30 years of bad taste.

Baggier clothes have become trendier. I think its a UK influence. Travis Scott the most overrated celeb just popularized it here.

I think its better than guys wearing skinny jeans

I don't know if it is still like this, but GQ did lots of their photo shoots to look like a strip club. Except that it is the men who are the stars, instead of the women. The women all look like they are kind of strung out or something.
