Was about to move on, I put him on Ignore, Discussion thread cleaned up real quick.
I'm surprised San Jose Guy is not #1 on Most Ignored List. He is #4 at 50.
50 of you already done what I did today

Instead, I usually hide individual threads as they're created or bumped. That also cleans up the feed, but individual threads still make sense.
(Ignore - I can take a person off from Ignore list)
1. Click "Dashboard" in main mneu.
2. On the resulting page, click "Hidden Discussions" at the bottom of the list (above "Log out").
3. You'll see a list of "Hidden Discussions". Right under each title, you can click "UNHIDE".
Just in case you ever want to see SJG talk about "Zoroastrianism and Transistor Radios" or CJkent be creepy or chum the digital waters with liberal bait for the conservatives here who love to give him exactly what he wants (attention).
It's a cancer to any new members. To me I propose to founder that you have a two or three thread limit on the front page to prevent spamming. It is just so fucking incessant.
At one time he was. I don't recall the exact number of ignores but I believe it was over 100.
My theory is that during the period that he lost his library internet access and couldn't post some people that had him on ignore removed him after seeing various comments from others discussing him being AWOL.
My prediction is that his ignores will once again go up as he continues to post and more people get tired of seeing him flood the board with his irrelevant spam.
I agree with Muddy that the discussion boards are discouraging for new members. I believe that's a reason why there's a lot of users who only post and comment on reviews.
I doubt SJG has picked up fans--more than pre-COVID, he just talks to himself. No one gives more of a shit about his cockamamie rantings now than they did before.
Yeah I missed the fine print, that mostly explains why he dropped more than 50% but you can bank on my prediction that his ignore count will go up. He'll probably be number 1 again by winter.
The good thing is that he doesn't incessantly spam every thread with 'buying dances is a chumps game'. Because of that, he is more bearable than before.
Hopefully I haven't jinxed it.
It must be like the selective hearing some folks develop over the years!
I agree, his posts are littering the discussions again. In my excitement over his return, I forgot what a bore he can be.
CMI thanks - yes I see Ignore list and Hide list. So can put on and take off from either.
