When porn stars get signed to an agency are they legally unable to...?
Hey guys,When porn stars get signed to an agency are they unable to sugar date, escort or shoot for pay content? It seems like small group of porn stars will escorts or shoot amateur films but only through specific channels(I know of an specific website thanks to a excellent member here). I read an interview by a sugar baby whose now a porn star so I'm curious.
However, a friend message some newly signed porn stars over Onlyfans, he wanted to do a quick amateur shoot, and she started asking him for credentials.
He also messaged a European porn star on Onlyfans and all right away she gave her rates. Is it that porn stars in. Europe are freelancer while in America they are contractually bound?

I will play along and answer your question:

I depends on the specific contact, some contacts are “exclusive”, so they can’t shoot for others.
It used to be that escorting was frowned upon by the adult industry, because “if anyone can have sex with her, no one will buy her movies” and because the possibility of sexual transmitted diseases because the clients are not tested.
But today some escorts do porn to be able to charge more because a “pornstar” can potentially change thousands per hour...
In California, escorts (individuals who are paid to simply spend time with you) are legal.
Escorts must obtain a special permit that allows them to offer their companionship.
Engaging in sexual conduct in exchange for money is a serious violation of California law.
Escorts who have sex with a client, in exchange for money, on the job will lose their permit and face criminal prostitution charge.
In Europe the laws are different and the porn industry has different rules and regulations.
Pornstars also have to sign a model release for the “scene” to be legally distributed.
You just reminded me of this quote:
“The law says you cannot touch, but I see a lot of lawbreakers up in this house.”
— Matthew McConaughey
Yes, unless the contract has a clause about it. But I've had offers extended to me outside of my agent. I refuse to shoot content with amateurs who wAnT tO tAkE PhOtOs. 🙄 They are literally just looking for an escort at a cheaper rate. And then they go post the stuff on porn hub.
I send all inquiries to my agent and PR if contacted by someone looking to collab. They know who's legit and who isn't.
And a very large number of porn talent escorts.
The premise of an amateur shoot with a pornstar is basically solicitation.
In the case of real amateur porn. The person shooting it owns the rights to it. Its an extremely risky career move for an established actress
Twitter/insta/snap/email might be possible, but most likely you'll be dealing with an agency at least for the first visit
