Libertarian Party

If ever there was a time for the libertarian party to get popular...
Who know that it was illegal to have an air freshener on your rear view mirror and the penalty was death by shooting in front of your girlfriend?
AFAIK this is the only country where Pay for Pussy (P4P) is illegal and the drinking age is 21.
But it's okay for the leader of the executive branch to have rioters storm the legislative branch and for the two main political parties to put the country in over $28 trillion of debt.

Unfortunately for him yesterday was idiot cop not being able to tell the difference between a 6 ounce taser in her left hand and a 2.5 lb pistol in her right hand and shooting you in the chest.
She should go to jail for this, "accident" or not. I thought the Chief could have at least mentioned that she would be held responsible for her "accident" but he didn't. Dumbass.
That all said, DON'T PUT YOURSELF IN THE POSITION TO BE KILLED. Zero chance of being "accidentally" shot if he does not resist and try to escape. Same with Floyd. Same with the guy at the drive thru in Atlanta.
I'm sure there were 100 other instances of some fool resisting arrest and trying to escape that day where they were not killed. One is too many, but don't put cops under stress where they might do something wrong or overreact.
Maybe you could infiltrate Qanon and convince people that the satanic pedophile cults does a lot of its meetings at the 2001 Odyssey and see what happens.
Fun fact, apparently this stuff was predicted back in the day:
From Goldstone/Turchin
https://www.abc.net.au/triplej/programs/…
And also Strauss/Howe
https://www.businessinsider.com/protests…
(A *mostly* accurate summary of their stuff. Except for the millennials vs boomer stuff is baloney. The two were predicting a boomer leader *leading* millennials out of the crisis. Like FDR did for the greatest generation, etc) I read two books from them recently and it was illuminating stuff.
On the plus side, the 2030s has a decent chance of being a smooth time.
Many of us older folk on Tuscl have had jobs where we carried guns and we know the guns do not just accidentally kill someone.
If Biden's DOJ does not arrest the officer, then Biden is no better than Trump. At that point, you are blowing smoke up your ass if you think America is still special. The P4P and other laws are better in every other country. In the US, you have to fear driving around with your girlfriend if either one of you is black. So basically you're stuck here because you bought a home, only speak English, and are too lazy to move some place else that does not have lead in the pipes and crumbling infrastructure.
So what is a greater injustice? Police departments in the United States, 2001 odyssey, or Baby Dolls?
There seems to be a commonality to most of these recent stories. Attempted arrest (usually with an outstanding warrant), struggle in an attempt to get away, and then tragedy. You would think if you lived in fear of the police, you wouldn't struggle or run from the people with the guns. I am afraid of police to a certain extent. I have known some that were complete assholes. I wouldn't resist arrest and not expect a poor outcome for me.
Dude, you're a fucking idiot.
"Authorities said the car was pulled over for having an expired registration and after determining the driver had an outstanding warrant, police said they tried to arrest him. The driver then re-entered the vehicle, and an officer fired, striking him, police said."
Expired registration.
Outstanding warrants.
Resisting arrest.
Attempting to flee.
He would still be alive if he had simply complied with the officers' lawful orders.
Compliance is proven to be 100% effective in preventing officer involved shootings.
Their philosophy about as anti-progressive as it gets and is more closely aligned with more extreme Republican doctrine.
Maybe I got it wrong but...
The Libertarian party has no understanding of the Constitution, no understanding of the freemarket
Join the populist America First movement and leave those lolbetarian weirdos behind@
It is not apt to describe such a socially liberal group as Libertarians as right-wing. They have more in common with Antifa than they do with your average Conservative. They want to eliminate national and state borders, eliminate policing and regulation, gender-free bathrooms/locker rooms/ intramural sports, barter-based economy, and more. They are as delusional as any liberal; although their delusion is based in ignorance, rather than anti-American indoctrination.
He was about to have $100,000 bail revoked for an armed robbery case involving a gun. He was not reporting to his probation officer and was found to be in possession of an illegal handgun. When they found him in possession of a firearm, he resisted arrest, got in his car and fled from police (sound familiar?). There was a warrant to appear for bail revocation, but he failed to appear. So he had a warrant for parole/bail violation, for the resisting arrest and fleeing, and for failure to appear. That means he was already a fugitive when they tried to arrest him Sunday.
