Trump has accomplished much already - updated July 2025

I can't believe that it's only been 6 months since Trump took office. The scope of what he has already accomplished is hard to imagine. Highlights include, but are not limited to, the following:
.

He has defanged Iran and potentially brought a truly lasting peace to the Middle East;
This may very well become his enduring legacy in world history classes taught in the future;
He is making European countries contribute their fair share to their own defense;
We no longer have boys beating up our girls in sporting events or walking around the girls' locker rooms with their penises hanging out;
Manufacturing construction has picked up dramatically in this country, with much more expected to come;
Our borders are finally secure again;
Oil and gas prices have come way down;
Inflation remains under control;
Automakers are no longer being forced to make unprofitable EVs that nobody wants and were making all of the other cars more expensive;
Regulatory agencies have released their stranglehold on the necks of a variety of industries, which will also pay big dividends in the coming months;
Peace between Rwanda and Congo is here after decades of conflict and 8 million lives lost. Sadly this didn't get much press, but is an uincredible win for peace in that region of Africa; and
Fairer trade deals between the U.S. and its trading partners are starting to roll in;
The passage of the OBBBA, which will provide immediate economic stimulus via increased business cap ex spending and longer-term tax relief to everyone who currently pays taxes, among countless other benefits to working families.
.
All of this in just five short months. I'm sure I'm missing some things, so please feel free to add.

Am I the 1st to respond? Good post, rick. Trump accomplishments impressive, especially considering that much of what he did was cleaning up Biden's mess.
Meantime, there will be several (many?) stock market gyrations with the whipsawing effect of emotional reactions to are tariffs on or off. Still, DJIA/S&P500 above the earlier year lows

I agree with some of the things he’s done. Personally I can’t stand the guy.

Given all he has done, like it or, with the razor thing margins in congress IT IS astonishing how much has been done. "It's the economy, stupid" will prove to be the deciding factor.

Trump has done a lot but its all has negative implications for the vast majority.

Harris was a terrible candidate. Supported genocide. Supported right wing policies. She wouldnt distance herself from Biden. She claimed the economy was great... She was just as out of touch bas Trump. At least people see how fake Trumps populism is.

Which right wing policies did she support lol? Supporting israel isnt just a right wing thing. Most left wing candidates also support it

Why would she distance herself from biden? Logically she wanted all of bidens voters

Dementia Donnie at his finest! He's made himself rich, always playing golf, and totally ducks any responsibility. He's a gem. Oh yeah, the only reason he doesn't fuck kids anymore is he can't get it up!

55% tax on goods from China, easily the worlds biggest tax. And we expect companies to bury it. Watch your christmas shopping prices explode. But he needs the money to increase the tax benefit for private jets. Someone stated we should buy American Made shoes, I did a search, the cheapest American made shoe is $199

On oil, the price of oil will go down, why? Because China is switching to EVs at a monster rate and China oil demand is crashing. But we do know if Trump is for Evs or against them, because he campaigned against them, but them sold them on the whitehouse front lawn

Trump's crackdown on illegal immigration and creation of a secure southern border is protecting South American migrants before they even leave South America:
