Are the girls thirsty?

Between the stimulus and reopening the answer locally is No. My ATF will happily schedule OTC with me but she never initiates reaching out to me which tells me she's not feeling broke or short of customers.

The guys have returned to the clubs quicker than the girls. I'm not saying there isn't any new talent, but the ratio has been more in the girl's favor.

Are the girls thirsty where you're at?

When the girls are thirsty, I give them a bottle of water.

This might be one of those odd times - where strippers need the money - but they don’t want to appear thirsty. It’s been a rough year for everyone. If you have a reliable otc girl, that’s a great thing to keep going.

Any astute monger knows the deal in their local area. Some areas like Fl and Tx are open and probably much more normal than some other areas like NY or Ca. If a dancer acts thirsty in my area, I’m going to think she’s likely very very thirsty. I will then think I have the upper hand in negotiating price.

We know strippers don’t plan for more than a few hours in advance, so this pandemic must be brutal on those who can’t move to places that are less locked down.

If a dancer becomes a no show in this environment, I would simply write her off as a flake. My view is they need the cash more than I need to put up with stripper shit.

IME most dancers with kids do indeed file tax returns - they just don't report everything they make. They need to in order to receive the Earned Income Tax Credit and for proof of income eligibility for free child healthcare, EBT, reduced/free school lunches and other available welfare assistance.

So yes, the stimulus payments are indeed fucking things up right now. So much so that I'm thinking of sitting it out for the next week or two. But as we all know, most of those girls will inevitably blow it quickly, so this is a temporary anomaly.

There was piece on the news last night with people who took their relief checks to Vegas, bought hundreds of lottery tickets, etc. These are supposed to be relief checks, not stimulus checks.

Strippers would be amongst those whose income was reduced by the pandemic and lockdowns, and in need of financial assistance. Hopefully, they can have a moment of lucidity, and squander it.

We,our country, could have saved trillions of dollars of wasted spending if these stupid governors had not forced the closing of businesses.

A stimulus payment won't last long for a stripper. Those drugs don't pay for themselves.

Just to clarify I also meant those stimulus checks are sloshing around in customer bank accounts too. Even if a dancer doesn't get a check she probably had a good week last week.

My OTC girl is reliable. She's not great at marketing. Which is probably why she provides such good service at such a reasonable price.

The other day I heard something along the lines that the average income for Americans had increased (I think it was by like 20% or something like that) in 2020 even though we had a pandemic and large unemployment – the takeaway was that this was due to all the government stimulus including the enhanced-unemployment-benefits where a good # of people were making more not working than when they worked (especially those in the types of jobs most affected by the virus).

As @Dugan mentioned, I think there are a lot of dancers that file taxes b/c it’s advantageous for them to do so b/c of how much they can get in return (if they have children; etc) – I also assume many of them would want some kinda income history so they can qualify to buy a home, car; etc – they probably play around w/ how much they declare so they can get the mo$t advantage while paying-in the least.

I would not be surprised if all this stimulus/enhanced-UI $$$ is affecting the dancer-pool in terms of #s and hustle – just today I went to a Venezuelan restaurant I pick up food from – since Covid they have been closing on Sundays – I asked the lady that works there if they were still closing Sundays and she said yes – when I asked if it was b/c it was slow and she said no that it was b/c they couldn’t get enough staff (even though the unemployment #s are up from b/f Covid) – she said most of the staff is working 6-days-a-week trying to keep the place running and the owner decided to close Sundays o/w most of the staff would need to work 7-days-straight – I took this to mean there are people that prefer/are-better-off collecting government $$$ than working for the restaurant.

Locally reopening restaurants are struggling to staff kitchens. But some of that is just the closed border.

Plenty of waitresses willing to work for front of the house tips. But not a lot of experienced minimum wage cooks especially in this high cost of living city
