Not surprising. It is pretty much a dive located at the end of the bridge that connects to Tampa. I was there years ago and it was a strip club that specialized in BBWs. Not my thing at all.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A 32-year-old man is accused by police of killing 24-year-old Jametric Facyson on Saturday at Emporium Lounge.

Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said the suspect, Gai Marwil, 32, shot the victim following a large altercation that occurred inside the strip club at 4:11 a.m.

Several hundred people were in attendance and rushed out to the parking lot during the altercation, including the victim, police said.

Law enforcement officials said Marwil was driving away in his vehicle when he shot the victim.

Moments later, Marwil experienced a single-vehicle car crash on Interstate-275 at 54th Avenue North, the sheriff's office said.

Marwil was treated for serious injuries at a local hospital.

Pinellas County Sheriff's Office has charged Maril with first degree murder and felon in possession of a firearm.

Deputies said when Marwil is released from the hospital, he will be taken to the Pinellas County Jail.
