Of course all the looting was only done by impoverished people who were desperate for money to buy food.

Do you have any idea how much payments on a new Rolls Royce SUV are?

I can't find it online, but I heard on TV that BLM had raised $1.6 billion - we're gonna be dealing with their take-down-America Marxism for a while; unless the government is able to go after them and take their ass down (fingers crossed)

It's important to distinguish between painting with a broad brush and nuance. I never thought Marxism was a bad word. I never knew that BLM was in anyway connected to that concept. I know there are folk who want desperately to say the movement is about something other than it is. They said that in the '60's too.

in the 60's, the same movement was called the Black Panthers.

I don't understand your POV - are you saying you don't view Marxism as a bad thing; and that IYO BLM is not a Marxist organization?

Anyone who doesn't think Marxism is a bad thing needs to study both history and economics.

To your point, Winex, the Black Panther Party actually originated the Head Start Program that fed as well as commenced early education for children in pre-K in the community. They also did arm themselves as a means of protection against those who would open get violent or hostile with them. There's a famous story about a white police officer who was mistreating a black motorist and a party member with a rifle stepped on the scene. The Officer was a little concerned but the party member said, "I'm just here to make sure this is conducted smoothly." There's been a long history of that not happening. Of course Hoover and the FBI and others labelled them as a subversive group. And the laws of openly being able to carry firearms were changed once it was known that black folk were carrying the weapons. It's interesting that white militia groups, just this year, made their pressence known in a government building without those laws of openly carrying weapons being challenged. I know people who were in the party and their account of how certain events went down differs significantly than what the FBI was pushing at the time. That's not to say mistakes weren't made on all sides of the issue but the whole truth has not received the same amount of coverage as the "official" story and propaganda. There comes a point where a lot of black folk are tired of taking the bullshit. Reactions vary. I always search for "why" a certain thing occurs rather than just get distracted by all the noise.

Black militias made their presence felt also in Atlanta and Louisville w/o being challenged

@OscarLomax - first of all, hitting the enter key every once in a while (preferably at natural paragraph endings) really improves the readability of your posts.

Second - I support the Constitution - all of it. That includes the second amendment. There are places where concealed carry and open car of firearms is perfectly legal.

Arizona is one of those places. You can carry a gun, rifle, shotgun, whatever openly here. You can also carry concealed without needing any type of permit. We believe in the second amendment here.

That having been said, even in a state that respects the Constitution, there are certain places that you can't carry a weapon. I can't bring a gun into a courtroom, a jail, or a federal building. I couldn't stand with a shotgun outside of an election polling place.

That's what makes this picture of a Black Panther standing outside a polling place in Philadelphia during the 2008 election disturbing.

"... Recently several celebrities have utilized imagery and references in their music videos, costumes and literature to the Black Panther Party of the 60s and 70s. They of course present a romanticized look at the organization which glosses over it’s radical socialist, violent side. While no doubt the BPP performed good acts for some, they also participated in murder, bombings, acts of terror and robbery in pursuit of their agenda. Below are the names and photos of 35 police officers who were murdered by the Black Panthers and the subsequent Black Liberation Army in the 60s, 70s and 80s. The Black Liberation Army was an organization that grew out of the Black Panther Party, composed of former Black Panther Party members, operating from about 1971-1980. Another two police officers on the list were murdered by the Weather Underground, a domestic terrorist group with ties to the Black Liberation Army ..."

If a person can be born with a dick, and identify as a female or a cis or whatever, can I be born with white skin and identify as a negro, African, a coon, Jamaican, etc? Should LGBT should be revised to LGBTRE for race and ethnicity? 🤨 I just want to watch YouTube of white people at Starbucks complaining that their latte is taking too long because they’re black. 😂

Papi---enter key/exit key. You know what I'm saying. Don't sweat the small stuff.

I'd first need to be quite wealthy to be a racist since racism is actually a tool of those in possession of great resources. Now an argument could be made that I have a bias against certain situations and individuals that have no concept of what's like live my situation. Not looking for pity because I have no problems fighting when necessary.

It's just the absurdity that folk want to dismiss someone when they are telling their truth. You don't have to like it. But you probably should check it out if you consider yourself to have any kind of humanity or intelligence.

(Conclusion here) So bias, no doubt. Everyone has a bias of some sort. Racist? Maybe in a few years when I have the resources to influence a power structure, and I do so with "extreme prejudice," then we can revisit that notion.

^ I guess a sense of humor is not your forte - that joke was meant for @winex as he was the one I was quoting in my post.

The joke was that he was complaining about you not using. paragraphs so I called him a racist for telling a blackguy about using paragraphs ( ha ha),- since a lot of black people take everything/anything as being racist even a simple innocuous statement/action - it was meant to be facetious but perhaps you fall under the everything is racist subgroup
