An NBA player with BALLS!

FUCK IT!
Wasn't sure whether to post this in front or politics room but to play it safe the politics room it is.

I don't know this player and I don't know the story behind his choice but I'm impressed by his guts to go by his convictions instead of going along with the agenda. He'll probably catch heavy flak over this from teammates and the NBA so I won't be surprised if he bends and goes along with them next time but I salute him for this time.

Tough to stand by yourself; especially for such a young guy (22) - hope there are people that come to his defense b/c he's gonna be eaten-alive by the woke-mob

I respect this guy for standing, for the anthem and his own principles. A hard thing to do under the circumstances. That said, how sad that it's now considered "news" when one guy stands instead of the 2 or 3 fucking assholes who used to kneel?

Stand for your convictions. There is no right or wrong here. Only agendas pushed. He owes no explanations.

Big props to that young-guy for being willing to stand-alone like that - he can't be the only player that feels that way - hopefully others that feel the same way will now have the courage to follow his example

Good for him. Standing for a country where one can make millions of dollars by running, jumping, and tossing an orange ball through a circle.

Do you respect Kaepernick for standing for his principles? Or ia that just feigned respect that suits your ideological position?

No I don’t respect Kaep for standing considering it is was his place of employment. I also don’t know what he is preaching about, he grew up with a silver spoon. Activism he wants to do and preach outside of his place of employment, fine. And quite frankly, anybody that doesn’t stand for the flag, which gives one the right to be a vocal activist is a moron. It’s easy to be an activist in a free capitalist society. Try doing that in a socialist one.... also, I pay to watch the NFL games, I’m a consumer, none of us want to walk into Starbucks and hear propaganda. Same thing, these players will ultimately find out who pays the bills and they will start stfu.

Amazing how Kap discovered activism right as the NFL caught on to the read option.

Now Nike sponsors him while they use Chinese slave labor. They deserve each other.

Could care less if he kneels. Yawn.

Today's Progressive faggottery - dump on America and simultaneously not say anything about China - and nothing personifies this faggottery more than the dipshit NBA.

Bc the NBA is made up of one and done uneducated dipshits who take basket weaving 101. They wear BLM t-shirts then get on the court and say the N word 100 times. That said I think the owners are standing back thinking ‘let these kids mouth off, when the next collective bargaining agreement comes round we will show them who is boss.’

There will probably be retribution for him unfortunately just for merely not bowing to group think and being proud of his country. And nobody is going to have the balls to call it out or have his back when it does.

No moron, he has balls for going against your ideological agenda that is being forced on anyone that doesn't agree.
Get a fucking clue. You have 122 blocks, obviously most people don't agree with you.

i don't know the guy personally. might be a cool dude or an arrogant jock douche. who knows right?

i respect that he has the ability to zing that football and the physical capability to run for first downs and avoid getting smashed by vicious linebackers and safeties.

however, i can't respect someone who has now all the time in the world to self-educate himself on issues he believes in. i can't respect someone who wears a fidel castro t-shirt. if he read a little bit about what kind of a piece of shit castro was he just might have had second thoughts of having it on.

We hear a lot about "racism" these days. If the idea that people have to think a certain way or believe the same ideology because of their ancestry or phenotype isn't "racism" I'm not sure that word has any meaning at all.

As a white, I would never presume to tell a white they can't join Antifa or some far left group. I can't even imagine thinking that way as much as I despise Antifa or leftists. I can't imagine what conservative or even moderate blacks have to go through putting up with harassment from their own group just for thinking differently.

Everyone has a right to their beliefs. No one has the right to have their freedom of speech being taken away. In the same regard, everyone has a right to tear him apart for what many would say is a poorly stated, poorly judged reasoning that could be seen as nonsensical. He effectively isnt practicing what he preaches and doesn't understand the movement like so many non-celebrities.

The idiots in this country would be more likely to attack him for his REASONING. His belief in God. A cardinal sin to the left!

Lol no wonder certain communities fail and are supported by vermin. Jonathan Isaac is a man of principle, who follows his beliefs, while people like Icey who use the N word and call him an uncle Tom i=are lower than the dog shit you scrape off your shoe on the curb.
We are in Obama's race war and the left is going to lose.

Sadly Jonathan Isaac tore the ACL in his left knee in a non-contact play on Sunday. He has had a history of problems with his left knee and has a long road to recovery.

"Do you respect Kaepernick for standing for his principles?"

No. His principles are based on a hate of America, while simultaneously reaping the rewards of being here. And like majority of protesters, protesting without doing anything to offer solutions. Change takes more than chants...

NAAAASTY,

There is a right or wrong! I doubt there is ANYTHING in the universe we can all agree on. Some still think the earth is flat. They ARE wrong!
When things are not so cut and dry, there may be wiggle room. But standing up for the country that allows you to be an ass and disrespecting that, IS WRONG!

Jeez - was just watching a snippet of Jonathan Isaac's postgame interview after he was standing for the flag, and the first question a reporter decides to ask is "do you believe black lives matter".

What a leftist hitjob - as if standing for the flag means you are saying black lives don't matter - and that is the purpose of the slogan; that if you don't agree with them on absolutely EVERYTHING then it means you are anti black - typical Marxist propaganda shit

Or its God's way of taking him out of the picture to highlight the retardedness of the league in its current state. I sure as shit dont need a bunch of undereducated, tatted up brats spoiled and coddled from an early age preaching at me. The NBA sucks, it was more fun when the rules werent as pussified and 7'ers didnt think they were PGs.
