Trump has been nominated by several politicians. Of course he won't win it as the process is far too political and he is a polarizing figure, but he should. Among his achievements are:

The Abraham Accords (he should win it for this alone);
Peace between Israel and Iran after decades of proxy wars.
A new peace deal he recently brokered between Rwanda and Congo (which is getting very little press);
Economic normalization and peace between Kosovo and Serbia (in his first administration).
Negotiated an extended ceasefire with Turkey in northeast Syria.

Now I fully understand why some would not want to give it to him, as deserving as he is. His gloating and self-congratulations if he received it would be downright unbearable. But if we are being completely honest, who has done more than him to achieve real peace in this world?

@Gam: I don't disagree. But it will mean even less if someone who has accomplished as much as Trump has is passed over. The world is a much calmer place when he is in office. These accomplishments should be recognized, if for no other reason than to show the world how peace is best achieved.
