TJ HK open today along with most other Zona bars

Since 1963 ...
Turns out they do things a bit different there. First open the brothels then the restaurants.
As of 5pm today (Friday) most of the Zona bars in Tijuana are open without a lot of girls or customers since they only announced it this morning. Not sure if they finally agreed on a price for the bribes or why the sudden change of heart. On the other hand it might not be an official government sanctioned opening so we will see how long it lasts. I'll make the trip next weekend if the situation holds.

Also, I checked with civvies and workmates in TJ and no oficial news regarding opening the boarders for business as usual, as Baja was still considered "red" due to the high number of COVID-19 cases.
Could HK be opening up without the local or State or federal government's permission?
If so, TJ TUSCL Nation should enjoy it while they can and also take a little extra cash (the prices for all commodities and services might go up).
Since HK was open for a day or two, it seems like a few BGs (including one of my former favorites) made the trek, so the selection might not be ok at the hotel.
There are rumors the bars will be closed at least until August, perhaps until September.
It seems BGs went to TJ to work thinking the bars in the Zona Norte would d be opened, so the selection at the hotels might be ok, though to me still not worth the effort to go and try to cross the border.
However, for the hardcore and overly adventurous TJ Mongers, Hotel Cascadas and Hotel Rizos are open with BGs and SGs available.
With HK's short-lived opening and subsequent closing there were plenty of BGs and SGs looking for work.
Though not the party atmosphere and abundance of choices, there seem to be options worthy of the effort if you are willing to make more than the usual effort to visit TJ.
If the medical offices in the Zona Norte are still closed and the BGs medical cards are not being updated, the TJ mongers need to informed of the extra risks associated when visiting TJ.
