If the America First movement ends up accomplishing nothing else, discrediting globalist RINOs like Kristol forever was worth it. There will never be a political space for that brand of "conservatism" again.
The bleach and UV comments are getting a lot of play but at least they got shot down quickly. He’s running out of material after riffing live for 2 hours a day for four weeks and now just spits out whatever comes to mind. The bigger danger IMO is the multiple times he pitched hydroxychloroquine. That’s a real treatment and people definitely asked for it to treat covid, despite Fauci and Birx saying to wait for the studies. Now you’ve got an AMA study saying it not only helps with covid but it actually leads to a higher number of deaths. Still more research to be done but his irresponsibility on this was an unforced error.
He’s been winging it his whole life and he’s dangerous.
In a rational world, these comments about injecting bleach and shining UV light on the skin and in the lungs should have been the last straw. It should have been incontrovertible proof that the president is a moron and mentally ill. But his polls are the same and he has the same cult-like following that he's always had. We look like a laughing stock to the rest of the world. Imagine what Angela Merkel (a Ph.D. quantum chemist) thinks of our dingbat-in-chief?
@Skibum: "I wonder if more people are dying of this in areas run by liberals or Americans,?"
Well, we were slow to adopt chloroquine, that miracle drug.
It's been apparent for some time that he can say anything outrageous and his hardcore supporters will make excuses for him (misquoted, taken out of context, fake news, joking, sarcastic). Question is, how does this affect those in the middle and the undecided? Or those that grudgingly supported him in 2016 because they liked the alternative less.
“The quality of ideas seems to play a minor role in mass movement leadership. What counts is the arrogant gesture, the complete disregard of the opinion of others, the single-handed defiance of the world.”

All he said was that they're looking into it. There was a time when placing heart stents inside of arteries must have seemed outrageous as well, but they looked into it.

Poor Dr. Birx.
Poor us.
As Kristol's twitter says its a NEW AD from from Republicans for the Rule of Law (@ForTheRuleOfLaw).
You know, REAL CONSERVATIVE Republicans not just folks play-acting as "patriots"
It's just my guess that this ad is mocking Trump's fitness to be president, but I could be wrong 😁
Thanks for the link to the quack medical device site; post when they get FDA approval

Thank God for the science of President Trump. He found the cure for coronavirus: bleach.
@Jackslash I always take medical advice from fat guys wearing clown makeup
I wonder if more people are dying of this in areas run by liberals or Americans,?
Trump is a very stable genius and a medical expert. He was dean of the College of Science at Trump University.
