Expect the sale of UVC lamps to explode. Strip clubs already use black lights. I wonder how hard it would be to replace them with UVC lighting in a safe way...

I use UVC sterilizers. UVC will kill you, too.

There is no UVC in sunlight. Mostly UVA with a little UVB.

It's been in the 80s & 90s in South FL and we have a good # cases (the most in FL)

How do you feel about going to a strip club where the inside is as bright as day?

Light is going to stop you from inhaling droplets, especially indoors and recirculated by air conditioning...

What I heard, "Lap dances are available out on the patio."

I never felt the biggest risk was surfaces as much as person to person contact

Sunlight also destroys stripper mystique quickly.

There have been no new reported cases in my zip code the last week or so. Coincidentally the temps have gone from the 80’s to 90’s and now will be over 100 in one week. We’re soon going to find out, but I suspect the distancing has a bigger play in this.

Every Corona ward I’ve been walking through has UV lights everywhere. Just saying

Of course, UV kills it. The right band of UV kills everything if used in proper amounts, including us.

And it destroys all sorts of other things, plastic, wood, cloth.

So, how much UV, in what bands of wavelength, for how long? And how harmful is that to, um, everything else?

(Cure is probably worse than the disease.)

I'm sure napalm also destroys coronavirus, hopefully we don't see a people start hoarding that too.
