Would General Robert E Lee go to a Gentlemen's Club?

DrMeat
Was Gen R E Lee a "Gentleman", would he have gone to a strip club if there were any in the Confederacy?

100% wrong Twenty Five. We are a collection of states, with States having all rights not otherwise enumerated in the Constitution. The Constituion is completely silent on the issue of whetrher or not states can leave the union and as such leaving is a right retained by the State. You need to look uop the definiton of traitor after you learn about the Constituion. Yes, he'd have been hanged in Iran, Russia, China and Saudi Arabia, given their know ledghe of state's rights. Robert E. Lee is one of the five finest military minds in the history of humanity.

R. E. Lee was known and loved as a clean living man of integrity and clean living.
And as far as this country, what ever it may once have been, now it is a united and unbreakable nation.

The Constitution doesn't list any sort of procedure for states to secede, so there is no legal basis for it. In 1869, the Supreme Court ruled it unconstitutional though.

Interesting article. I did not know that Lee was such a disgusting douche.

Not read the article, but Lee seems not to have been like that.
Did support slavery, but not secession.
