  DandyDan -- Rockford is now left with two Bikini Clubs and one Breastaurant. They are cleaning up the low price motels that have been used by the low end hustlers for prostitution. They are opening some new restaurants and another water park. So, you got that going for ya.

  "Officers executed search warrants at both Chantilly Lace and Exclusive Lingerie boutique on 7th Street. Code violations were issued forcing the businesses to shut down. Police say during the raid, several women were detained and questioned by investigators but no one has been charged at this time. This investigation is ongoing. The police department and the mayor's office on domestic violence and human trafficking??? Classic horseshit. Eliminating these businesses will do NOTHING toward ending the DEMAND for commercial sex. Fucking nonsense. It only decreases the SUPPLY of commercial sex. Decreasing the supply may well actually increase the incidence of domestic violence and/or drive the specter of human trafficking further underground. Previously, sex workers had a quasi-legitimate address within which to provide their precious time and talent in exchange for a little treasure. Human trafficking needs to be eliminated by incarcerating pimps to excessive sentences. In other words, alter the cost/benefit ratio of being a pimp to the level at which it is no longer worth it to be one. Eliminating a venue at which a willing adult transacts business with other willing adults has NOTHING TO DO with reducing trafficking. It is ALL ABOUT legislating morality. Enjoy your future empty downtown storefronts, you shitty Rockford excuse for municipal leadership -- your town sucks and now there is one less reason to ever go there.

  Darn! Lingerie Modeling Boutiques to be closed. Those kinds of places can be real fun. We had a Vietnamese one, for a while. Loved it. But actually, UHM strip clubs can be better, because being hang out places, strip clubs can more easily allow front room makeout sessions. SJG
