  I've gotten HJ's & do prefer them with lotion I supply or in the case with dancer a lubricant she supplied. A dry HJ is okay but not as much fun or as comfortable as a lubricated one. I had one dancer who supplied lubrication with her mouth-now that was unexpected! Told me later that for $25 a dance in the early afternoon in the club she would do that everytime. Haven't followed thru on that however. Hey, Shadowcat, why did you skip Saturday?

  Someyoungguy: nice to meet you. I've perused your St. Louis club reviews and I'm glad to have the information. Never been clubbin' in that town. You got any suggestions for how I might make a mongering venture? If I were to fly into town, where to stay, how much to budget for rental car, etc.? :)

  chandler, there are a hell of lot of things wrong with me, getting laid being one of them. So, damn, getting a handjob would have me floating on a cloud for months one end. Come on, a girl you don't even know would be so nice to you that she would touch your pee-pee? (And by the way, it'd be even better if she didn't mind looking at it while giving me one!) Never refuse a handjob. Never!

  I guess I'm the opposite of most of you. I wouldn't have much interest in HJs or any of the other extra activities discussed here unless it's with a girl I've known a long time and really like. And my experience tells me that's when such activities are least likely to be available. So I don't have much experience with extras in clubs and that's OK with me, that's not why I'm there anyway.

  Of the extras that are available in clubs, handjobs are the "good angel" sitting on one of your shoulders, with fucking and bjs being the "bad angel." From a purely sensual point of view, I would prefer fucking or getting blown. But when you are dealing with a strange woman who you have never met before, and may never meet again, a handjob will get you the same release, with the least number of epidemiological concerns. In other words, I won't enjoy the handjob like I would f**king or a blowjob, but I also won't obsess over every itch or burning sensation for the next month if I only get the blowjob. Of all ways to reach an orgasm with a woman that I don't have an emotional tie to (in other words, a woman that I am f***king, rather than to whom I am making love), my preference would be a blow job, because it requires little exertion or effort, no attention to the woman's pleasure, and is ALL ABOUT ME. However, in a club, a blowjob may be the most dangerous activity to your health. The risks of vaginal sex are well known, and most dancers are going to insist on a condom. I don't know that there are are any health hazards from a handjob other than, as set out above, chafing. Virtually everything you can get from f*cking, you can get from oral sex (either from the flora that live in the mouth, just as in the vagina, or from blood in her mouth), but hardly anyone in clubs uses a condom with oral sex. So you have all the health hazards of vaginal sex, with none of the customary protections. In some clubs, there is just enough privacy for a hand job, but not enough for other activities, so handjobs are a useful expedient. But I understand that Chandler's question had to do with preferences among available forms of sexual activity, so this statement is not really in keeping with the spirit of the original question as posed.

  I don't go looking for hand jobs in the clubs but I certainly don't turn them down. I don't mind them at all as long as it can happen in relative privacy. I assume if the dancer is doing it she is not worried about getting caught. As far as the HJ as a sex act, I don't have a problem with a girl using it as part of her repertoire. Sometimes, at my age and with 50mg of Viagra in my blood stream, it's the best way to "finish" especially the second pop. Half the fun of a hand job-not in a club but in the bedroom-is seeing where she aims it.....

  I have to admit, there are times when I prefer a handjob over a blowjob. This is because I have met more women -- including seasoned professionals -- who are inept at blowjobs, than I care to remember. (Perhaps I am just rather finicky, in an instinctively natural sense, about what I 'require' out of a blowjob for it to be enjoyable or effective; whereas my natural preferences for the handjob may be more lenient.)

  Book Guy, I derided handjobs in comparison to other sex acts, so Harley is saying that alternatives from strippers are too risky for him. I agree with Casualguy's point that the real alternative is lapdances, which lazy strippers find to be too much work. I've posted before about times when strippers who go straight for the zipper have disappointed me and others. BTW, in case anybody didn't realize it, I was being facetious above with my last two questions, although I am genuinely curious what the appeal is.

BookGuy, let me first say that I'm not the only expert on ESL clubs. chitownlawyer, among others, have been there, and since I've only reviewed clubs in Wash. Park, they can probably give you the goods on Sauget, Brooklyn, and Centreville better than I. As for arranging a vacation there: I go online for air, hotel and rental. I always use Priceline and name my own price for hotel, and I'm going to start using them to name my own price for car. Along that vein, let me give you another website: [view link]. If you've never used Priceline, look over there for what other people have bid. It also has small reviews of hotels "won" on Priceline bids; there, I gleaned the observation that all hotels in St. Louis charge for parking except for the ones close to the airport (if that information's incorrect, someone please let me know). That's why I've always bid for hotels close to Lambert. The downside is that you're 20-30 minutes away for East St. Louis, and I'm not sure if the cost of gas evens out the relative proximity of paying a daily parking fee in a hotel downtown or in Forest Park, et a . Prices are by no means stable, especially for a flight, but for my last trip there (four nights), I think I got $30/night for a hotel and $30/night for a car. Hope that helps!
