Gotta agree with CMI. Countryman sounded like a cool guy before all the spamming of HK threads and flipping out on anyone who disses TJ, HK, and HK girls. I remember the old thread about his very first trip there. Where both Anislee and Warrior were talking about how it was cool to meet him in person and they finally understood why he always posted the name as "Honk Konk"

I think that's something a lot of us could do well to remember, maybe most of us don't have the issue to the extent that Countryman does but for some reason you have this little inner voice that tells you you can't have fun unless other people acknowledge that it is fun for you. I have some of that inner voice too but that inner voice is stupid, how much fun you have doing something is entirely subjective to you and your personality. If somebody is just as happy with an LDK as they would with intercourse then why do some members here feel the need to berate someone for not trying to get more? LapDanceKing has said he enjoys the teasing nature of lap dances more than actual sex, so why pressure him to go for something that he isn't looking for?

@CC I agree with that. Thing is, like you said, Countryman went a bit too far with it. The multiple PMs with threats is going overboard.

Folks on this forum have ridiculed LDKers since it was first ever mentioned. When it's a just a little jab in random threads it's not really a big deal. Much like Dugan does with the put down of 'premature ejaculators'. No big deal. But someone like SJG, who has to make his way into every thread involving LDKs to say something negative, then also try to force his way of having fun onto everyone else. That IMO is doing too much.

Countryman absolutely has gone too far with it. PMing members threatening them, making threads about them and trying to fight them in real life is not acceptable. I think he mentioned somewhere that he is bi-polar so maybe his reactions are just a result of not taking his medications properly. It wouldn't surprise me since when I look at what sets him off like with GMD and RickDugan, I thought they were really tame statements. With GMD especially, I still don't understand what exactly got Countryman so pissed off.

Yeah SJG does take that too far, I've tried to tell him before to not be so critical of guys who bought lap dances at the club and whatnot. Yeah you're right about that. I think its hard sometimes to really understand why everybody else doesn't feel the passion and sense of wonder you have about something. Or even just a topic you're really interested in. I get really obsessive about things myself and I sometimes struggle to remember my audience before talking about something.

I had the opportunity to meet @Countryman5434 and @misterwonderful this morning and both are pleasant, fun loving mongers.

The bargirl I brought over commented that @Countryman5434 is a real gentleman (I didn't get the chance to introduce her to @mrwonderful).

I met @jimnelson yesterday and we had a good mongering trades of the craft discussion, and for a relative newbie he definitely has it down.

I'm sorry I didn't get to meet @founder or @anislee but I was busy arriba at the planned time of the meet and then she decided to stay TNL.

This was my longest stay in TJ (Monday night until Wednesday afternoon) and it was by far my best overall experience.
