conspiracy?

JohnTitor
don't sweat the petty things-pet the sweaty things
I am maybe going to post discussions from time to time that admittedly aren't pertaining to stripperville, but more just a topic I'm interested in eclectic minds from all over the place weighing in and what they choose to contribute. Often maligned conspiracy theory shit. Some I believe, some not as much - and I might ask about topics after this initial one.

So yeah, here I go. Your feeling on JFK's assassination? Or just on JFK in general?

I always sensed it was essentially a government coup executed (no pun intended) at the highest levels of the U.S. gov't incl. LBJ, Hoover, CIA & secret service.

Please share, thank you, and I wish you all beautiful lap dances and for the strippers in the crowd I wish you lots of $$ and lack of drama =)

The thing about conspiracies is that the lack of evidence seems to prove the existence of it. Rather than the fact that it's wrong, people would prefer to believe that there's some grand scheme that's trying to hide the fact. They hear hoofbeats and think it's a zebra.

I'm old enough to remember the assassination of JFK. The school principal announced over the intercom that the President had been shot but was not badly hurt. Ten minutes later he announced over the intercom that the President was dead. Shock and sadness. Next Oswald was captured. Then Oswald shot to death.

Was it a conspiracy? Well, the investigation was bungled in many ways, creating a lot of skepticism. I think a small conspiracy is possible--meaning that Oswald had help from unknown individuals. But a vast conspiracy is unlikely. If a conspiracy existed with the FBI, CIA, LBJ and other groups, someone would have talked by now. People can't keep a secret like that for long.

Three people can keep a secret if two of them are dead.

Since when did this board become a place to ask about non-SC related topics?

Normally I don’t engage with skibum609’s birther posts. skibum609 seems like a nice enough guy who I’d probably enjoy having a drink with. That said, I just don’t get why he has to cling to birtherism rather than just say “I hated Obama” and move on.

But I do have a question: If you believe birtherism, why vote? For that matter, why engage with politics at all?

Here’s why I ask the question: if Obama was actually ineligible, why couldn’t Romney (or McCain or Clinton during the 2008 primary) find evidence of it? I having looked up total spending by Romney because I don’t have the energy, but I’m sure it was on the order of $100 million for each Republican. Add to that any spending by superpacs. By the time Romney was running birther theories were out there. If they were true, why didn’t he just spend a tiny fraction of his money, come up with evidence that Obama was born in Kenya, publish it, and cruise to victory? Romney probably could have spent way less than he did to end up running essentially unopposed!

So it strikes me that covering up birtherism would have to include the Romney campaign. Including Romney.

So now the conspiracy is government/judiciary/press and the Romney campaign (and probably the 2008 Clinton campaign and the McCain campaign). I suppose that maybe Sarah Palin was out of the loop but otherwise everybody who is anybody is a co-conspirator!

So, logically, everybody is in on it and nobody’s vote matters. It is all shadowy figures doing what they’re going to do. If so, the brilliant thing for birthers to do is just say “fuck it”, never waste time voting, and move on with life!

“Secrecy, being an instrument of conspiracy, ought never to be the system of a regular government.”

    - Jeremy Bentham

Lee Harvey Oswald did not act alone; the murder/hit was sanctioned by Mafia bosses Santo Trafficante, John Roselli, and Sam Giancana that felt betrayed and disrespected after they had helped elect Kennedy President.

It was also because of Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy's relentless public pursuit of the mob and for the vast sums of money the Mafia lost when Castro closed Cuba's mob-controlled casinos.

The CIA created a secretive environment during the Eisenhower administration, which recruited top mobsters in a series of plots to assassinate Fidel Castro, the Cuban leader.

The CIA links with the Mafia continued in the Kennedy administration, although the Kennedy Mafia Family was to a degree unaware of the other Families ties to the CIA and the loyalty of the CIA to all the Mafia Families was divided.

Lee Oswald was working for/with the CIA and the Mafia Families used him as one of the people team/group to kill Kennedy. Oswald was first arrested for the Killing of a Police officer looking for one of the suspects 45 minutes after the Kennedy Shooting.

Oswald was conveniently/eventually charged with the murder of Kennedy; he denied the accusations and stated that he was a scapegoat.

Two days later, Oswald was fatally shot by local nightclub owner Jack Ruby on live television in the basement of Dallas Police Headquarters on Order from the Mafia Families.

A Dallas jury found Jack Leon Ruby guilty of murdering Lee Harvey Oswald, and sentenced him to death. Ruby's conviction was later appealed, and he was granted a new trial.

However, on January 3, 1967, as the date for his new trial was being set Ruby supposedly became ill in his prison cell and died of a pulmonary embolism from lung cancer.

On to the next Vendetta Robert Kennedy...

I was born in 1957. The Hospital I was born in became a dormitory at Cornell in 1962. In 2004 I needed my original medical records from a hospital that had disappeared 42 years prior. Two week later I had certified copies. Barrack Obama was born in 1958. The hospital wherein he was born is still in operation. Had he actually been born there, he would have obtained and posted his original birth records instead of thje fake birth certificate he posted on his website and later removed. The Federal Court having jurisdiction over the issue dismissed the cases filed and now, since it is moot, they cannot be refiled. He wasn't born in Hawaii. He wasn't eligible to run. The fact he was a shitty, bigoted, hateful President, who listened to Jeremiah Wright, who is not better and no different than the KKK is why I hate him. The idea that questioning someone about their eligibility for office being racist just makes the ones claimiong it to be racist ignorant fuckheads. Communities succeedd and fail based on the merits of their members. His has failed because of bullshit like calling racism to shut down debate.

JFK wasn't a great or even good President. Why would anyone engage in a conspiracy to remove a mediocrity?

^ How can we be sure that those records are real, seems sketchy to me : )

A handwriting expert can examine them and determine if they are from 1958. Not difficult to tell how old paper and ink is, or at least not as hard as it is to tell a stripper's true age.

I think JFK set a lot of bad precedents He created the Peace Corps which paved the way for other CIA brokered NGOs used to spy on and destabilize countries. He got the US involved in Vietnam. He almost started a nuclear war by putting nukes in Turkey and then bitching when the RUssians put them in Cuba. Fuck him.

JFK was a good President. He was not the liberal martyr he is sometimes made out to be. He was a pragmatist. We lost a lot when he was killed, as he was trying to pull us out of Vietnam.
