Too much of a good thing is never enough

Wallanon just posted several reviews of strip clubs in Montreal (see reviews on January 24, 2019). Thanks for the excellent reviews!

One of Wallanon's take home points of his series of reviews was that the Montreal strip clubs are somewhat disappointing, presumably because of lower than expected mileage in the private dances. (Is that a correct conclusion Wallanon?)

In contrast, Montreal has a reputation for a great escort scene, which is seemingly legal and openly advertised. I'm surprised that the strip club scene does not feature high mileage dances and extras.

For anyone familiar with the Montreal scene, what accounts for the discrepancy between the excellent escort scene and the less stellar strip club scene?

Not all the clubs were bad. I'm way behind on reviews. In the city the trend was down. Off the island the clubs were better. There's also a suburb I mostly avoided because I don't speak French. I'll post somerhing here to summarize later.

Montreal may be open about escort services but they still have strict laws against bordellos, pimping and street walking. They allow consenting adults to do what they want and tolerate the agencies, but a strip club allowing too high mileage might run afoul of the law. I'm aware of a few clubs well outside the city in the "farm lands" that are basically full service joints but in the city you might only get a HJ and not in very many places. You can touch, that is liberally allowed, in most places but beyond that is a crap shoot.

The escort option is better, and usually if it's one of the more prolific agencies the girl will look very much like her picture if not exactly like it. A lot of the massage places that have a cadre of Quebec girls are worth trying out but will cost almost as much as an escort. That's still not a lot, for CAD $200 you can get a hot 20-something Quebec girl to come to your hotel for an hour. If it's a new girl might be CAD $180 and the exchange rate is excellent now, I've been toying with taking a trip on my ext vacation.

There used to be useful review site for Montreal escorts but it had some trouble, changed domains, and now when I look at the forum it's mostly useless.

Seems most areas where prostitution/escorting is legal that SCs are not very-good - kinda makes sense - why spend a couple hundred getting teased when you can get serviced well with little drama and about the same $$$

Dances in Niagara Falls and the Toronto area, especially from the Eastern European dancers, was full of lots of extras, the last time I was there about 2 years ago. The one time I was in Montreal, the strip clubs were lame.
