A FAV of mine years ago, invited me to her Thanksgiving at her family house, she showed me there the magazines she had been in, she is a model, later was in Playboy and several television adds and several music videos after that. One of the best Thanksgiving ever for me, her mom and her sister were super nice and welcoming, they thought we were dating.

So many girls who model and don't have any other normal job or a job that is mainstream but doesn't pay well, are often scraping for money. On first glance when people see their Photoshopped asses looking classy and hot in a spread or shoot or promo they think the girl has it made. A good enough number of these girls are always looking for a sponsor or 2 or 3. A subset of THOSE girls would never put themselves out there with a pimp, or in escort ads, or even sites like SA and certainly are too much into regular life (or not smutty hot enough) to do the IG model thing. Those are the perfect girls to find, but now they are impossible to find thanks to the government.

There are so many women moving to the west coast and Vegas that go there because they want to make a career of modeling/acting (another one of the impacts of social media) and they end up stripping or on SA or in some cases as an escort.

Years ago it was the small town homecoming queen syndrome moving to the big city......now it's more of IG/dancing on stage and want to make it really big because someone told them they looked good on all fours twerking after they've had a few drinks....

It really doesn't pay as much as some people think to be a model per gig unless you are way up on the food chain.

My ex from a few years ago normally got about 1K-1.5K a job (and she was built) but she maybe got six modeling jobs a year and one or two small parts acting ( or in a commercial)

I have met a few dancers over the years that were models, both mainstream and nude. One dancer who I liked, was kind of tomboy looking in the club, showed up in Penthouse one, and Hustler twice. A good photographer, lighting, hair stylist and professional makeup artists can do wonders. In the club I would rate her somewhere around a high 7 or low 8, nice body, decent tits and ass, but average face. In the magazines she was a strong 9.

One of my favorites years ago worked for a modelling agency, and she mentioned the reason she worked is because modelling didn't pay much unless you were one of the top models. I was in a store that sold magazines in the town I grew up in and someone working there told me I should buy that months edition of Playboy. When I asked why he told me there were some girls from the local college of that town in there. They had ordered too many copies and needed to sell them. I bought it and when I flipped it I noticed that the centerfold was twins. I took a second look and I knew one of them. That was when I found out she had a twin sister. The one I knew was a Hooters girl and had been noticed at a Hooters Calendar Bikini contest by a talent scout.

This girl told me that her and her sister got paid $50,000 total for both to pose. They had a one year contract with Playboy than mandated they live in L.A. for that year. They both worked at Hooters in L.A. during that time. Whenever Playboy had and event they had to show up. Transportation was provided and they were paid $1,000 per hour for modeling while at the events.

At least a dozen on model mayhem, or on Extreme Magazine have been the featured (monthly) dancer in my region.
